masquerade part 2

Erik kissed Rosalie's forehead and looked down at her "I'm going to get ready then I'll be back to take you away" Erik whispered in her ear

"Behave" Rosalie said as Erik smiled and he left to go get dressed into his red death costume as the crowd sang

All: "🎶 in the light, in the sound but who can name the face masquerade grinning yellows, spinning reds, take your fill let the spectacle astound you 🎶"

All: "🎶 masquerade, burning glances, turning heads, masquerade stop and stare at the sea of smiles around you masquerade seething shadows, breathing lies, masquerade you can fool any friend who ever knew you 🎶"

Rosalie saw her sister lily and her best friend Ruby on the side watching all the couples dance and she joined them

All: "🎶 masquerade leering satyr's, peering eyes, run and hide but a face will still pursue you 🎶" Then Carlotta and piangi walked in hand in hand along with monsieur Firman and monsieur Andre

Carlotta: "🎶 what a night 🎶"

Piangi: "🎶 what a crowd 🎶"

Firman: "🎶 makes you glad 🎶"

Andre: "🎶 makes you proud All the creme de la creme watching us watching them and all our fears are in the past🎶"

"What a big celebration...so where's Erik I thought you said he was your escort?" Ruby said looking for him "I saw him earlier then he walked away" Lily said

"He's going to get ready in his red death costume" Rosalie said "ah so missed him dancing with you what a shame" Ruby said pouting as the music kept going

Madame Giry: "🎶 and what a masquerade 🎶" she sang as she waved a folding fan in her hand then Raoul and Christine walked in

"Think of it a secret engagement look your future bride just think of it" Christine said as Raoul held her hands gently

"But why is it a secret what have we to hide you promised me" Raoul said trying to kiss her "it's an engagement not a crime" Raoul said and went to dance the crowd started singing

All: "🎶 masquerade, paper faces on parade, masquerade hide your face so the world will never find you 🎶"

All: "🎶 masquerade, every face a different shade, look around there's another mask behind you masquerade burning glances turning heads 🎶"

All: "🎶 masquerade stop and stare at the sea of smiles around you masquerade grinning yellows, spinning reds masquerade take your fill let the spectacle astound you 🎶"

Then the music turned dark and mysterious as Rosalie smiled knowing who it was at the stairs "he sure makes an entrance" Rorsch said startling the 3 of them

"Why am I not surprised your wearing a wolf mask" ruby said holding her heart in surprise at his sudden appearance making him lift an eyebrow

Erik walked down the each step with an intensity as he had sword gripped at his waist

Erik: "🎶 why so silent, good messieurs did you think that I had left you for good have you missed me good messieurs 🎶"

Erik: "🎶 I have written you an opera 🎶" he brought out a file of the papers "🎶 here I bring the finished score Don Juan Triumphant 🎶" Erik dropped it towards Firman and Andre also pulling out his sword

Erik: "🎶 fondest greetings to you all a few instructions just before rehearsal starts 🎶" Erik sang as he started listing his opinions out

Erik: "🎶 Carlotta must be taught to act, not her normal trick of strutting round the stage 🎶" Erik said as he stuck his sword in her hat

"Well I'm glad someone finally told her that she is a terrible singer" Rorsch said making Rosalie snort "could you be anymore blunt" she said "yes" Rorsch said crossing his arms as Erik kept singing

piangi came in to defend Carlotta but Erik pointed his sword at piangi's stomach

Erik: "🎶 our Don Juan must lose some weight it's not healthy in a man piangi's age 🎶" Erik sang as he walked to the managers

Erik: "🎶 and my managers must learn their place is in an office, not the arts 🎶" Then he turned his gaze on Rosalie

Erik: "🎶 as for our star miss Rosalie Sofia Thorn 🎶" Erik sang putting away his word while making his way towards Rosalie

Erik: "🎶 no doubt she'll do her best- it's true her voice is good she knows though should she wish to excel 🎶"

Erik: "🎶 she has much still to learn, if pride will let her return to me her teacher, her teacher 🎶"

Erik stood in front of her and pulled her into his grasp as the floor beneath them gave way to a trap door making Raoul drop in but into a hall of mirrors

Rosalie's pov

I was being carried by Erik who was carrying me bridal style "you really are a demand for theatrics aren't you" I said as he smirked

"But of course my dear why would you expect anything less from me I am the phantom of the opera after all" Erik said as I was set down

"I have to go I do hope that you won't do anything unnecessary like that incident with Bouquet" I said scolding him "alright" Erik said holding his hands up in surrender

"Goodnight" I said leaning in to kiss him on the lips and of course he reciprocates it "Goodnight my goddess" Erik purred in delight as I made my way up and went to my shared room with Ruby to Lily

To my surprise they were already there "hey guys what's wrong?" I asked as Lily gulped and bit her bottom lip as she tried to hold back her tears "I found mom's grave" Lily said

My eyes watered "what" I said breathlessly and she came to hug me I she knew I was emotional when it came to mom...since when mom died dad got abusive

"Let's go and visit her grave tomorrow ok" I said kissing her forehead gently as she nodded and we all went to sleep
