"Yeah" I mumbled There was quite an uncomfortable awkward silence; I was biting my lip, twirling my fork around."So..." My mother said" Finn, Jack how's everything with you? I understand you have been attending university?" My mother added rather quickly. They both swallowed the contents of the food in their mouths. "Um, yes...But then we both decided that we wanted to travel the world and stuff, so our Parents agreed that if we managed to get things sorted in this year, we could carry on, if not we agreed to both go back to university "Jack said carefully trying not to talk to quickly. "Right, okay sounds interesting!" My mother replied. Trying to sound interested, but you could tell she was bothered that this meal, hadn't gone to plan ."Sounds really cool!" I mumbled stuffing food into my mouth at the same time. I caught odd glances off of Mr. and Mrs. Harries and a slight appalled look from my mother, which turned into a slight smile. I wiped my mouth, "sorry" I mouthed to my mother She nodded; oh look there it was again AWKWARD SILENCE! Isn't it just the best? It makes you feel uncomfortable in so many ways, I glanced across the table, I gazed at Finn...probably slightly drooling. How embarrassing....He chuckled and raised an eyebrow; I looked away quickly....My cheeks heating up. Well I just totally embarrassed myself didn't I?
