[The next morning, in the great hall. The gang is sitting, eating. Mia is twirling her food on a fork.]
"Please, tell me you've eaten something, Mia," Remus urged, expressing concern for her well-being and noting her lack of eating on her first Quidditch match.
Mia gazed at Remus and offered a soft smile, deeply touched by his fatherly concern. Her heart fluttered at his nurturing demeanor as he treated her with such care.
"Don't worry, Remus. Ron and Hermione made sure I eat something," Mia assured him.
Ron: Take a bit of toast, Mia, go on. Hermione: Ron's right, Mia. You're gonna need your strength today. Mia: I'm not hungry.
"Remember James's first match?" Sirius queried Remus.
Remus nodded and let out a laugh. "How could I ever forget? We practically had to sit on him to make sure he finished his meal."
Snape appears at the table. Snape: Good luck today, Potter.
The room was filled with shock when Snape unexpectedly wished Mia good luck for her first Quidditch game.
Mia remains puzzled by the gesture to this day, finding it a mystery.
Observing the scene, Sirius glanced at Remus and whispered. "Did he genuinely wish her good luck, or am I hearing things?"
Remus nodded, confirming, "Yes, he really did!"
Then again, now that you've proven yourself against a troll, a little game of Quidditch should be easy work for you. Even if it is against Slytherin. [Snape walks off, limping. Mia notices this.]
Snape let out a snort as he observed Mia's ability to notice small and hidden details in everything she saw, finding himself somewhat impressed.
Her perceptiveness brought back memories of her mother. It left him reflecting on the similarities between Mia and her mother in that aspect.
Mia: That explains the blood.
Hermione expressed disbelief, "I still can't believe I didn't see that."
Ron reassured her, "I wouldn't blame you; fighting a troll can be distracting."
"I guess," Hermione replied, conceding to the distraction caused by the troll.
Hermione: Blood? Mia: Listen, last night, I'm guessing Snape let the troll in as a diversion so he could try and get past that 3 headed dog. But, he got himself bitten, that's why he's limping. Hermione: But why would anyone go near that dog?
"Exactly!"
Mia: The day I was at Gringotts, Hagrid took something out of one of the vaults. He said it was Hogwarts' business, very secret. Hermione: So you're saying... Mia: That's what the dog's guarding. That's what Snape wants.
