At Constantine, Theodore and Constantine were sleeping on the couch, while Genevieve sat nearby, looking at her work papers. She was a prosecutor in Manhattan, one of the best, but she was in trouble with a judge who threatened to revoke her license. Genevieve's phone rang. It was someone very important to her. She picked it up and stood up. "Oh, I miss you. Do you have some good news for me? Damn it," Genevieve said, upset and raising her voice, which woke Constantine. She loved her daughter but wished Genevieve were more like Elizabeth, the one you can rely on. "Genevieve Carolina," Constantine yelled, and Genevieve looked at her mother. "I need to go, I'll call you back." "Me too," Genevieve said, hanging up. "Genevieve, I was resting. You should have taken the call in another room," her mother said. "Sorry, Mother," Genevieve replied. "Why were you so upset on the phone?" "It just works, that's all." "I do want to talk about everything soon." "Yes, Mother. Do you need anything?" Miranda came into the room. "Miranda, you're here," Genevieve said. "Yes, I want to check on my sister. Are you both getting along?" "We are trying. Aunt Miranda, I would like a studio room at your hotel." "Genevieve, you're not staying at the hotel. I need you with me." "Elizabeth can take care of you. She's your favorite daughter." "Elizabeth has already done a lot for me. Now you can help too, after what I did for you." "I don't owe you or Daddy anything," Genevieve said, upset, and left the room.
"Constantine," her mother called out.
"She hasn't changed at all," Constantine replied. "You don't need the stress."
At Pine Hospital, Grace was at the nursing station when Theodore came by. "Grace, I need a favor from you," he said.
"What?" Grace asked. "Genevieve isn't taking her medication for her bipolar disorder, and I'm worried about her." "You want me to call another doctor?" "Yes, please. I can't deal with Genevieve anymore."
