*This chapter was supposed to be after the next one that will post soon, but I accidentally mixed things up in the timeline and that's why there's all this confusion, I apologize in advance. When I post the next one, I will change their order and chapter numbers.*

Now

I touched warm cup. I stretched my fingers as I felt a slight tingle of warmth, which simultaneously spread throughout my body. It's strange how within a week the weather can change from excellent to rainy, cold and always cloudy. We had to change from light clothes to warmer ones, and we also had to carry an umbrella with us every day, because there may be unexpected rains.

Good thing that now instead of walking down one of the streets of Meridian, I was sitting in a cafe with others..... expect Will and Kie. I blinked, taking a sip of my tea. I wiped my chin, feeling my lipstick imprinted as I took the cup to my lips. For last four days we haven't seen them at all. We don't know if something happen to them or if they are okay. Michael told us that Will had texted him and both of them wanted to meet here for breakfast. It's 10:30 and they still are not here. None of us have ordered anything to eat yet, only drinks, because no one would probably contact at this hour. They should hurry up, because Michael and Kai are becoming more and more impatient and grumpy due to the lack of food.

"Maybe they overslept? Or... Oh no.." Kai put his hand to his moth covering it with fear in the eyes. For about five minutes, he come up with solutions to why they're late. "Maybe they got kidnapped... Look, who knows what Shustrov is capable of!" Michael set his mug down with a loud thud. "Stop. Kie probably took Will as help with her task, right? We need to calm down. They will be here soon, you know how difficult it is to get Will out of bed before noon... Kie has the energy so she will handle it well.... Blessings to her next husband, it won't be easy for the boy." We laugh slightly, knowing that he said truth. When Michael stopped laughing, after the joke, he cleared his throat slightly and put his arm around my shoulder, giving me additional warmness. I smiled to him, tangling our hands.

Minute later we heard loud knock on the window behind us. We sat at the biggest table possible, which means next to large glass window. Which was a bit disturbing because people kept staring at us as they passed by. It was also uncomfortable, but there wasn't another table with seven seats. So we have to survive this

I turned my head out of curiosity. I saw Will with his head stick to window making strange faces. I turned my head back holding back my laughter. "Oh God." Michael closed his eyes. This made me laugh even more.

I knew how Michel criticized Will's behavior. He usually lets him have his say, and then privately scolds him and gives him tips that Will never uses anyway. He is a free spirit and doesn't listen to anyone. Well, maybe he's listening to Kie now, but it must be because he really missed her and doesn't want to lose her, so he goes along with everything she tells him.

Someone opened door with loud thud and we heard laughter. Women's laughter. All of us saw two of them approaching our table. They looked like a mess. Big mess. Kie had sunglasses on probably covering her eye bags which can be seen on Will's face, which made him look like he had been beaten. We don't know what they were laughing about, but it's nice to see Will genuinely happy. It suits him, they both get along great, as if the five-year break had never happened.

I knew this was what their relationship was like in high school. I've seen a lot of photos and videos since Will showed the Four Horsemen's phone, taken from Damon's things. When I was in high school, I saw their relationships live, I always dreamed of being in their circle, and when it happened, I regretted it. I understood why Kie didn't talk to them after leaving for university. Even though it was funny, it wasn't worth all the nerves. A rush of adrenaline and then what? Remorse.
