Ariella's P.O.V.
"Ariella, stop avoiding my question." Ash said under his breath. He pulled away from me looking into my eyes. I never liked when people stared at me, I felt to exposed. I looked away.
"Ariella." demanded Ash as if his patience was begininning to crack. His beautiful eyes were trying to meet with mine. I pulled away from his grip on my lower waist. I hated this, I didn't want this so much. I began to rush myself out of the beautiful pond.
"Stop." I heard the raspy voice behind me call out to me. I froze. It was cold, my wet body was soaking with the shorts sticking to me and the wind hit me. My back was standing straight out to his face. I could hear my own breath.
"I'm sorry..." I finished unable to speak anymore. I kept my eyes diverted looking to the tree.
"Sorry for what?" he responded bitterly. I turned around to this angrily. My face flushing a bright red. He was still on the edge of the pond staring right up to me. His eyes an intense grin.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Because you don't know me and you don't need to know me." I firmly spoke. I was trying to be strong and tough but the cool wind was knocking me down. I realized at this point my bruise was on full display. He would steal looks at it and I could easily tell.
He began to rise from the pond. His body was glistening wet in the water, once again his body had got me distracted. He shook his brunette hair and let the water droplets fall everywhere. All I could wonder was how did I end up here with him?
He came close to me, breathing hard. We stood inches apart as our backs were pushed straight. He towered over me though.
"You can't avoid my question forever." he whispered lightly, playing with a strand of my hair. I looked up at him.
"I can avoid you forever." my eyes moved across the area to someplace else. His hand that was standing by his side moved up to press against my cheek.
"Ari-" he said. I interrupted him.
"No, I have to go." I quickly for the last time walked off by myself.
Throwing the soaked oversized sweatshirt over my bare body I began to stalk off where the roads were. He didn't chase after me after this, just silently watched me leave. I didn't know where as I was going now, after all I hadn't really brought my own car for my convience. I dialed Derek's number.
"Hey, sorry I didn't come get you I just saw the text." exclaimed a booming voice from Derek.
"Yeah, yeah I'm on a street called Parkthorns, google map it and find me fast." I said in a somewhat "bitchy" tone. He sighed loudly.
"Coming Princess." and with that he hung up and I was left alone and silent someplace. I think deep inside my heart I wanted Ash to come over to me and find me, but he wouldn't I knew it. I knew I wasn't worth it, just a difficult girl.
After about a full fifteen minutes the piece of shit car came swerving through the pebbled road. I could see Derek start to roll his window down.
"Woah, what happened? You're soaked." his eyes widened by my appearance. I rolled my eyes to his annoyance.
"Really?!? I didn't know!" I responded sarcastically. Guess I was feeling snappy today. Derek didn't say anything to my surprise though just silently gestured for me to take a seat. We drove out of the area into a familiar normal set of streets, then we began conversating.
