Ash's P.O.V.

I watched Ariella as she snuggled up closer to me into my lap as we watched a movie together in my room.  I put my arms around her, holding her securely as she warmed up against me. A second ago we were wildly making out on my bed and now we were quietly enjoying Rush Hour. She seemed so delicate and frail when I held her, it was almost like I was afraid to hurt her everytime I touched her. The bruise I had seen was like a slap in the face to me, it disgusts me. Thinking of Ariella being touched with her mom's filthy hands. I held her tighter.

"Ash! It hurts let go!" she shouted, I hadn't realized my grip was now around her bruise so tightly. I let my arms loosen, she turned around and looked at me to make sure I was ok. Her deep ocean blue eyes looked into mine, I love when she looked at me like that. She bit her lip nervously. She looked unbelievable unreal even more when she did that, no wonder why everyone was trying to practically rape her yesterday.

"Don't do that in front of anyone else." I said grinning at her, as I twirled her hair in my hand. We were now close to each other facing each other, disregarding the movie.

"Do what?" she asked with confused eyes. I mocked her a bit my lip pointing at myself to let her know what she did. She looked at my lips for awhile as I did it.

"You too, don't do that infront of anyone else." she laughed playfully. I laughed with her. When we stopped we leaned in closer together knowing our makeout session would happen again. I faced her as we began passionately kissing each other. Her lips were smooth and perfectly mashed together with mine. After a while she leaned back against my bed, out of breath. Her hair was messed up and her lips a bright pink, I wondered if she knew how hott she really was.

"I'll answer your questions about my life if I can ask you some about your life?" she said with a devious smirk. I bit my lip just so she could see and nodded carefully, although this wasn't a hot topic for me as well.

"Where are your parents?" she asked me.

"My dad is in Spain for some business and my mom died when I was young." I stated my eyes unwavering. Ariella's eyes didn't change into a look of pity. She knew it wasn't what I would have wanted, I was glad to see her ocean blue eyes staring at me headstrong. She simply nodded to me.

"Siblings?" she asked.

"No, I'm the only child." I answered.

"Okay, that's all." she smiled.

"That's all you want to know...?" I questioned, looking at her curiuosly. She tucked a loose strand of her brunette hair behind her ear.

"That's all I need to know." and she really never asked me anything else after that, not about my mom, my dad or anything.  "Your turn, Ash." Ash. I liked my name so much more when she said it.

"When you were sleeping, you screamed a name." I scanned her face, not yet wanting to say the name just watch to see if she already knew. Her blue eyes stayed still, blank and unmoving. But the way she fidgeted with her hands under my gaze, I knew she knew. She knew why she had called out "Chase."

"I don't know." she told me. I could see her palm rubbing on her legs. I held both of her hands up and put them in my hands.

"Tell me." I told her. I didn't want to find out anything later, I didn't want to get any angrier later. I just wanted to know. She didn't look defensive, as if trying to avoid the conversation, just blank. She didn't answer me just stared off into space. "Who is Chase?" I tried again. The name struck her like a sword. She frantically began breathing faster, I felt like I could hear he heartbeats running 100 mph. She ran out of breath, just heaving up and down.  I put my arms around her tightly.

"Get off of me! Stop!" she screamed. She muttered all sorts of things under her breath while hypervilating. I caressed her cheek with her hand and whispered for her to calm down. It was as if she was being choked right in front of me.

"Ariella, calm down. Chase is gone. Don't worry."  I held myself over her. She slowly began breathing normally again but tears rolled down her eyes. I didn't think she could handle even the name anymore so I said nothing while she stayed silent, eyes wide in my chest.

Who was Chase? The name bothered me now, I was furious, who did this to Ariella? Made her so scarred she couldn't even breathe right. I gently let her off of me and stomped out of the room. I punched the wall letting my knuckles receive an awful pain.

"What the fuck!" I yelled letting myself trying to calm down my breathing as well. I heard small footsteps, Ariella peeked out of the room looking at me.

"What are you doing?" she asked as if she had not just compeltely broke down. I was overwhelmed just seeing her, it reminded me someone had hurt her. Not just her parents, but Chase. It was like poison to myself.

"I can't look at you right now. Get out." I let out coldly. I didn't make eye contact, but I could see she looked even more broken than before. She didn't deserve being blamed, being blamed for reminding me of her being hurt. I walked over to her and pulled her hands away from her chest, putting them against the wall. I scanned her, she was still beautiful after crying.

"I didn't mean that." I said. She gave me a weak smile.

"I'll tell you. Who Chase is." she whispered quietly, saying "Chase" just barely I wouldn't have caught it if I wasn't watching her lips so intently wanting to kiss them.  I didn't respond just looked at her to go on. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"He raped me, my mom's ex boyfriend." I didn't see tears escape her eyes when she said this, she stayed still without emotions. I never noticed how miserable she looked, how painful it was for me to see her not have tears escape after saying that. I pulled her close to me and held her until I felt as if she was mine.
