I make eye contact with the girl so she will see I'm one of them and maybe stop trying to attack me. Instead of backing off she glares at me. A sharp pang enters my brain repeatedly. It feels as if someone is hitting the inside of my head with a baseball bat. My hands reach for my head and I curl into a fetal position. I scream stop over and over until my lungs hurt. I feel nothing but my head pounding. Is the girl doing this? Is she trying to kill me? Tears stream down my face and I begin to claw my hair out. I can't hear anything but my screams.

Then I feel someone shaking me. The pounding stops and so does my screams. I have a headache but other than that I feel fine. I look up to find Via. Her blue eyes shining down at me. She has colored eyes too.

"Are you okay?" she asks concerned. "Where are we?"

"I'm fine I guess." I say not wanting to explain everything. "It looks like we are in the middle of a forest."

I look around to find the girl who gave me much pain just by making eye contact but she had vanished.

"You look familiar. Have I seen you before?"she asks wiping the remains of blood off her face and onto her hand.

"My name is Ender, I go to your school- or did until we were sent here." I say looking around.

She nods also looking at her surroundings.

"I wonder why we were sent here." she murmurs to herself.

I catch her sneaking peaks at my eyes. She was most likely wondering why they were colored like hers.

"We have all been sent here because of our differences- our colors." a boy behind me says.
