I woke up feeling terrible as I rolled out of bed. It was a bright and beautiful Sunday morning, and I wasn't planning on missing it.
I planned on going out with Eddie to catch up some more, but I didn't think it was going to happen.
I did a weird maneuver and I fell out of bed, wrapping the blanket around me like a burrito. I groan.
"Pepper! Pancakes!" I hear Aunt May call distantly from downstairs.
"Coming..." I try to exclaim, trying to get out of my blanket cocoon.
I take off my pajamas and start to put on my jeans.. but they weren't baggy anymore, in fact they fit quite well. Weird. I look down at my legs, and they looked buffer somehow?
"When did I become ripped?!" I exclaimed as I look at my stomach, noticing it became a little bit smaller, but more muscular.
I go ahead and try to put in my clothes, that being a pair of black jeans, a white baggy shirt, the jacket that Gwen got me, and some rings with a necklace. I tied my hair up in a low ponytail and I head downstairs.
"Morning Aunt May!" I said as I kissed her on the cheek.
"Morning dear." Aunt May smiled
I tried to eat my pancakes the best I can. They are delicious don't get me wrong, but I just felt... different. I sigh and play with my food with my fork.
"Are you okay dear?" Aunt May asked concerned.
"Yeah... I'm just not feeling good today." I replied, holding my head in my hands.
Aunt May felt my forehead. "You don't feel hot..."
She then felt my hands. "Nope, you are as heathy as a clam. Maybe it's just nerves? You haven't seen Eddie in a while." Aunt May said.I gave a weak smile. "Y-Yeah, that's it." I start to take a bite of the Pancakes.

I start to skateboard over to the park where Eddie was going to meet me. I tried to stop myself when I was at the destination but I ending up sticking to the wall I was going to grab onto to stop myself. I was jerked back and I fell onto my butt, my hand still sticking to the wall. I watch my skateboard roll away. "Well that's the last time I see that." I mumble, upset.
I try and unstick my hand. "Ngghrr... I can't get if off!" I struggle for some time, getting some weird stares along the way. I slump down to the ground in defeat, my breathing quickens.
Then, I notice my skateboard rolling towards me. "Huh...?" Then, a pair of converse shoes step in front of me. "Well, there you are." Eddie says with a smirk on his face.
"Eddie! Thank goodness..." I chuckle, embarrassed. "Sorry it took so long."
Eddie tries and finally manages to get my hand off the wall. "What happened? Did you get some gum on your hand?" Eddie said as he helped me up. "No... I don't even know what happened." I sigh.
Eddie titled his head like the cutie he is. "Well that sure is strange." He puts a arm around my shoulder. "Okay, so, what's up?" He smiled at me with his goofy smile.
I grin. "Oh, nothing much. Been feeling weird, hanging out with Gwen," Eddie's eyes light up. "Gwen! How is she doing?" Eddie asked.
"Oh, she's been thriving. She's joined a band, gotten a internship at a science lab, been doing good!" I said.
Eddie smiles, looking up at the sky. "Lots of things have changed since I've been gone.. huh?" He said, with a hint of sadness in his voice.
I sigh. "Yeah, but a lot hasn't. Remember our secret hideaway?" I smirk and look at him.
