Why is the most popular fanfic literally this? Sorry I said I wouldn't call out fanfics/authors but I won't name the story but it actually makes me feel disgusted to open it.

I haven't actually opened it so I don't know if the reader is 15/16 but still. Students at Jujutsu techs are normally below 18 in the manga/anime. It's like a hidden high school with the same age gaps. First years being 15, second years being 16, and third years being 18 because Hakari failed a year actually.
So it's weird when a new girl joins the first years and she's like 20+ like idk about that. I guess we can go with our imaginations that the school would seek out anyone through lineage and special talent but normally that's before they turn 15. Yuji was a special case as y'all know.
I just can't read a 20+ year old as a first year student with 3 15 year olds. It feels creepy to me and there's tons like this.
However I think the most popular Gojo fanfics the reader is 15/16 which is even worst than a 20 year old as a first year.
Write however you want, I prefer the 15 year old to be paired with Yuji or Megumi.

This could be the same said for Sukuna x student reader. It's actually plagued on this platform believe it or not.
