As Tony Stark's daughter, Eve struggled to cope with the challenges she faced at a young age. She and her twin brother Maxwell were inseparable until his cancer diagnosis at age 8. Timothy, a friend from school, was a constant presence in their lives. However, when Maxwell's condition worsened, Bruce decided to keep Timothy away, and Eve devoted herself to caring for her brother daily. Maxwell's passing deeply affected Eve, and she became withdrawn, refusing to leave his room. The tragedy also led to a rift between Wayne Enterprises and Stark Industries, causing Bruce and Tony to drift apart. As a result, the children were forbidden from interacting with each other, further isolating Eve.As they grew older, Eve would often see Tim at school. He had a few siblings, but they attended different schools, except for his younger sister Liliana, who was a freshman. Eve was a junior, while Tim was a senior. She couldn't help but notice how charming, funny, and good-looking he was. In fact, Tim was her first crush. While many guys in school had a crush on all three of them, Eve's attention was always drawn to Tim. Unlike the guys on the sports teams who struggled with their grades, Tim stood out as something special.
As Eve approached Tim, her best friend Caroline intercepted her. Caroline, slightly taller with short brown hair accented by blonde highlights, had a tomboyish style. She was well aware of Eve's father's instructions, as Tony had entrusted her to keep an eye on Eve and ensured they shared the same course schedule.
"Umm, hello! Don't you remember what your dad said??" Caroline asked, gently grasping Eve's shoulders. With only three minutes left in the 5-minute passing period, Caroline reminded Eve of the restrictions set by her father.
"Oh come on, my dad doesn't have to know!" Eve pleaded with Caroline, trying to shrug off her friend's cautionary grasp.
"Your dad specifically said not to talk to them, and if you catch feelings, you're in trouble." Caroline reminded her, giving her a stern look.
As the bell rang, Eve reluctantly followed Caroline to class, her eyes straying to Tim as he walked out of the locker room. After school, Eve spotted Tim outside and mustered up the courage to approach him, but another girl beat her to it. Eve watched in shock as they embraced and flirted, feeling as though time had stood still. Caroline caught up and noticed Eve's stunned expression, understanding the situation at a glance.
"See, I told you..." Caroline said, noticing Eve's crestfallen expression. "At least you won't end up with some douchebag," she added, consoling her friend as she guided her towards the car.
Later, when Eve arrived home, her father was already informed about her attempt to talk to Tim. He stood in the living room, arms crossed and a disappointed look on his face.
"Look, I already know what you're going to say, so don't even bother..." Eve said, sighing as she dropped her bag and headed to the kitchen, trying to avoid a lecture.
"I'm still going to talk to you about it, Eve. You disobeyed direct instructions. You know better than to talk to those troublemakers" Tony said, his tone stern.
But Eve wasn't having it. "Look, I don't know what happened between you and Mr. Wayne, but I'm tired of your crap, Dad. I'm done trying to be perfect for you. I try so hard to make you proud, but all you do is criticize me!" she exclaimed, her frustration boiling over.
With that, she stormed out of the room, grabbing her orange backpack on the way. The slamming of the door echoed through the house, leaving Tony standing there, concerned and disappointed.
Eve had finally had enough of her father's strict rules and constant criticism. She decided to focus on her own project - a suit she was designing in secret. With her music blasting, she dove headfirst into the challenge, only stopping when she hit a snag. However, working on her suit wasn't easy, as her father was always in his shop, using the very tools she needed. But Eve had a solution - she would use her magic to teleport the tools to her room, unless her father was currently using them. It was a delicate balance, but she was determined to bring her design to life. Little did Tony know, his daughter was busy creating something extraordinary, fueled by her passion and determination.
Feeling frustrated, Eve put her project away and decided to take a break. She took a shower, put on her favorite PJs, and took her medication. As she settled into bed, she was suddenly jolted awake by a loud thump. She got up to investigate and opened her curtains to find someone plummeting towards the ground. Without hesitation, she donned her prototype suit, mask, and teleported to the bottom floor, using her magic to catch the falling person just in time.
"Are you alright? You hit the window pretty hard." Eve asked as the masked figure nodded and swiftly departed.
Concerned for their safety, Eve followed them and was shocked to discover a masked figure battling Man-Bat. As they clashed, Eve took the opportunity to make quick adjustments to her suit with her magic, causing a faint glow that inadvertently revealed her location.
Man-Bat's gaze shifted to a nearby rooftop, distracted from his fight with the masked figure. Eve seized the moment to finish her suit, her purple hair glowing as she completed the final touches. But, before she could react, the villainous Man-Bat appeared behind her, his sinister grin sending chills down her spine.
"Aw Shit!" Eve yelped, sprinting away and teleporting between buildings in a desperate bid to evade Man-Bat's clutches. Meanwhile, three other individuals shouted for her to stop running, but Eve's fear and panic drove her to keep fleeing, fearing what might happen if she fell into the bat-like villain's grasp.
Nightwing, Red Robin, and Red Hood strategized, splitting up to surround Eve. As she searched for them, they vanished. Determined to overcome her fears, Eve's eyes glowed, and she teleported to the ground, unleashing a magical blast at Man-Bat. She had been studying her mother's old book of spells, preparing for this moment. With newfound confidence, Eve faced the villain, ready to prove herself as a valuable ally.
"Nunc una trium potentiarum agit ad hunc daemonium dimittendum. Potestates et mala evanescunt, nunc humaniter benedicunt." Eve spoke the words three times, and to her amazement, Man-Bat vanished.
Elated, she looked up to see the three heroes returning. Nightwing, Red Robin, and Red Hood gazed at her with a mix of confusion and curiosity. As Nightwing introduced themselves, Eve realized she might be in trouble. How would she explain her magic and her presence here? The Vigilantes, renowned for their nighttime heroics, seemed to sense that Eve was hiding something. The questions began, and Eve braced herself for a challenging interrogation.
