Clark and Diana went to check on Cass, who was covered in cuts and bruises. Darkside let out a menacing grin and sneered, "You really think you can take me?" He summoned his parademons, which began to attack. Thanos' children were relentless, and Tim looked on in alarm. "She fought Thanos' children, told us to keep evacuating, and then she was knocked out on the floor," he said, concern etched on his face. Cap pondered the situation, wondering why the enemy would target one person and then retreat. "They've come after me before, but why go after one person and leave? Why not take out the whole team?" he asked, his eyes narrowing as he searched for answers. Bruce B examined Eve's injuries, his brow furrowed with concern. "She has multiple injuries, including a near-broken back, but her self-healing abilities saved her life. I can't predict when she'll wake up," he said, looking up at the four kids. "What I don't understand is how she was knocked out so easily. Was there any sign of weakness?" Cass and Peter shook their heads, explaining they were on the other side and didn't see her. Lily spoke up, her voice tinged with guilt. "She was weakened. She used her magic to teleport and save me...I should have been more careful." Tony reassured her it wasn't her fault and instructed Clark to bring in a medic bed. They carefully transferred Eve to the bed and wheeled her off to the medbay for further treatment. Tim reassured Lily, "It's not your fault, Lily. You did it to save me, and we're both okay. That's what matters." Bruce B took Eve to the med bay, keeping a close eye on her. Cap addressed the group, "Thanos' ship is approaching. We need to be cautious. Without Eve, we have only Wanda. They seemed to be targeting Eve, so Wanda, be careful." He then walked away to inform Batman of the situation. Lily still felt guilty, muttering to herself, "This is the worst time to feel guilty, especially after bullying her..." Wanda offered, "I'll do my best to help. I can try using some of my magic to heal Eve."
Diana suggested, "We can get two more magic users to help heal her, so you can conserve your energy, Wanda." Tim gave Lily a side hug, trying to comfort her. "All of that is in the past. Don't dwell on it anymore." He cared for both Lily and Eve, worried about Eve but hiding it. Cap returned, informing the group, "Bruce knows, and his team is heading back. We need to gather everyone in one spot. We're going to war." Lily urged Tim, "Go be with her. She needs you by her side more than me right now. Your secret relationship doesn't matter. She needs you, Timmy." She pushed his hug away, encouraging him to be with Eve. Zatanna and Raven entered with Diana, approaching the med bay where Eve lay injured. "What can we do to help?" Zatanna asked. Cass was surprised by their arrival, but Tim welcomed their support. In the med bay, Bruce explained, "We need you to use your magic to help heal Eve's injuries. Just enough to stabilize her, don't exhaust your powers." Tim's concern for Eve was evident, but he kept his feelings in check. Bruce monitored Eve's condition, aware of her internal bleeding and the urgency for effective treatment. Cap nodded at Cass, "Well, not right now, but once everyone arrives, we need to prepare for battle." Lily chimed in with her signature sarcasm, "Can't I just stay here where it's safe and not potentially die?" Tony noticed Tim enter and let him be, inquiring about the situation, "Red robin. What's the verdict?" The room was filled with a mix of concern, determination, and attempts at humor to cope with the gravity of the situation. Raven crossed her legs in a meditative pose, using her magic to address internal issues. Zatanna spoke a spell backwards, focusing on external injuries like broken bones and immune system support. Cass asked Peter and Cap about the others' arrival time, but they shook their heads uncertainly. Tim zoned out, missed Tony's comment, and snapped back, apologetically saying, "Hm what? Sorry, I zoned out." Bruce monitored Eve's progress, announcing, "Alright, that should be enough. Now we wait," as she fully healed, though still unconscious. The team remained vigilant, awaiting the others' arrival and Eve's awakening. Lily exclaimed, "Is there a contract to being here? Do I need to write my will at 18? Because if Eve doesn't wake up, with just Wanda, half of us won't make it. No offense to Wanda." Tony repeated his question, asking about Cap's message. Raven and Zatanna nodded and replied, "We'll be with the others. Let us know of any changes." Tim answered Tony, "Cap said everyone's on their way back here, and we need to suit up for war." Bruce assured Tony, "Eve should be fine now. She's mostly healed. We just need to wait for her to wake up." Cap had already left, missing Lily's comment. The team prepared for the impending battle, their concerns and banter reflecting their tension and uncertainty.
