Chapter 3 - The Lost Time

Mavis went to their rooftop to fix his project and Matthew decided to help him. While they are making the project Marcus also went to the rooftop and asked them if they wanted to join him to play outside. It is Saturday and so they agreed. They went outside to knock at Ella's house so they could play together with her sisters. They've knocked on the gate five times already and no one appeared outside. Alex saw them and he asked them what they were doing in front of Ella's house.

Alex- Bro! What are you guys doing here?
Mavis- We came here to ask Ella if she wanted to hangout with us or either play anything or we can bike also.
Marcus- Alex when did you arrive?
Alex- Yesterday bro
Matthew- Do you guys think Ella is busy?
Alex- Guys you can knock right?
Matthew- We already knocked on their gate and no one appeared.
Mavis- What if they went out of town?
Marcus- Oh yeah! maybe..

The boys were just patiently waiting because Ella and her sisters might come home, but they didn't. They heard their neighbours shouting "F*ck the shuttlecock" They saw that their neighbours also know how to play badminton. So they asked them if they could join them. The neighbours agreed and they played. After the game there is a girl named Jessica and went to Marcus to say hi.
The girl introduced her self as the youngest in her family and she said that she studied at a University. Marcus asked her which university she is in, and it turned out that they both go to the same school and in the same grade but different sections. The two got close day by day.

Marcus and Jessica saw each other at school and they always talk to each other whenever it's their break time. One time Jessica doesn't have money to pay for the taxi. And Marcus told her that she can just go with them. He said that they have their own van and their driver can drop her easily to her house because they live in the same neighborhood.

The next day, Jessica, Alex and Marcus are outside and playing badminton. They saw Ella go out and Ella talked to them.

Ella- Hello guys!
Alex- Hi Ella!
Marcus- Hey where did you go? We've been knocking at your house last day and no one appeared. Why?
Ella- Sorry we went out of town to visit my Grandparents..

way, what are you guys doing here? And who is this girl..?
Jessica- I'm Jessica
Ella- Hello Jessica
Alex- Guys lets play badminton so me and Ella can join.
Ella- That's right let's play

Ella also felt bad because she didn't have time to tell them that she's going out of town to visit her grandma who's sick. She noticed that Marcus and Jessica became really close, and Marcus just stuck to Jessica the whole time. Ella wondered why Marcus is not that much talking to her as if she's a ghost now. But Alex still does. Alex and Jessica are teaming with Marcus and Ella going to play badminton doubles, and the Alex team won the first round. Marcus wanted to win so he teamed up with Jessica. For the next round Alex and Ella won for the second round and they went on a break after that.

Ella saw Marcus talking to Jessica while eating ice cream while she is just lonely there eating her ice cream and doesn't have anyone to talk to. Because Alex went to his house to get some water. After 20 minutes. They started their third round. Marcus teamed up with Alex this time because he wanted to experience winning even though it's not a real competition. While they were playing badminton. Ella tripped and hurt her ankle. Alex saw that Jessica did that on purpose that's why Ella tripped.

They just went home and didn't continue the game because it's already past 6:30. Ella went home and she was really confused about what was happening and couldn't control her anger on that girl. She knew that Jessica likes Marcus, so Jessica always treated Ella badly whenever she was with Marcus.
