Chapter 5 - Confess And Forgiven

Marcus called Jessica if she can come to the park with him, because Marcus will tell her a very important thing that she should know.

At the park, Marcus told her to chill first before he told her the confession. While Jessica is just there sitting on a bench feeling a little weird because why would Marcus tell her something important even though they're just playing badminton outside. Jessica was so curious and overthinking so much then Marcus spoke up to her.

Marcus- Jessica you know we've been friends for just a few weeks already. But I think I like you now...
Jessica- No way!
(Jessica was in shock and she doesn't know what to say)
Marcus- Why?
Jessica- I'll be honest with you. I don't like you romantically but as a friend yes.
Marcus- oh
Jessica- When did you start to like me? I thought you're supposed to just treat me as a friend too because I am only treating you as a friend.
Marcus- I'm speechless.
Jessica- I'm sorry
Marcus- Don't be sorry

Jessica was so shocked after that, so she ran home after Marcus confessed to her. Jessica felt the awkwardness and she distanced herself to Marcus. Because she doesn't like it when her friends start to confess their feelings to her. Marcus became very upset about what happened. He doesn't know how to accept that he has been rejected. He told his twin Mavis about his confession and how it happened. Mavis was confused because he thought that Marcus liked Ella. Marcus explained that he has a crush on Ella.

The brothers have a family reunion tomorrow. They are going to stay at a hotel for five days. Matthew knew that he would miss Ella so he wrote a letter because he still doesn't know Ella's user in snapchat. He put his letter inside Ella's mail box.

(At the family reunion) The brothers were really shy and they wanted to go home because of so many people. Those three were introverts. They rushed to their room to rest and eat lunch. Matthew told them he left a letter to Ella's mailbox. Marcus asked him why.

Marcus- Why did you leave her a message to their mailbox?
Matthew- What's wrong with that?
Marcus- You know her parents might open it and read it secretly..
Matthew- So what?
Marcus- What did you write on that letter?
Matthew- Secret!
Marcus- Just tell me pls!
Mavis- Guys lower your voice.
Matthew- Fine, I told her that we are here staying at a hotel for 5 days so she would not be worried.
Marcus- I'm supposed to do that bruh!
Matthew- What..? Why?
Marcus- Also I'm about to ask her what's her Snapchat so I can chat with her and call her maybe..

(After 5 days she got it already)
Ella came home late after her final practice to their performance at their school. She saw a message in their mailbox. Ella was curious because her name was on the envelope, so she started reading it.

(Message written by Marcus)
To - Ella
Hello Ella! I hope you're doing well. We missed you especially me. If you've been wondering where we are, we are here staying at a hotel for 5 days because of our unexpected family reunion. You can go out sometimes again if you have time so we can bond and play badminton again.

Ella was amazed by those handwriting and she was really curious who wrote that letter. The letter doesn't have the writer's name and she thinks that it was Marcus who wrote that. She felt a butterfly in her stomach while imagining it was Marcus. She was really delusional.

In the middle of the night Ella saw new and populous things on Amazon. She realized that she is buying things online lately. Ella heard a notification on her phone and she was completely shocked when she saw that it was from Marcus. /How did he know my username?. Ella checked his message and he asked her what happened and how was her day. Marcus asked Ella a lot of things and Ella doesn't really know what to reply and yet Marcus was so random and messaged her in the middle of the night. Ella just went to sleep overthinking so much.

She is confused why Marcus became really curious about her. Ella knows that Marcus likes Jessica but she doesn't know that Jessica rejected him.

In the Morning, Ella was cleaning her room and she heard a knock on the gate and she became very excited because Ella thought that her parcel had finally arrived. She instantly ran to get her parcel. When she opened the gate it was not the delivery guy. It was Marcus. She felt really nervous about what Marcus would say and wondered why he was here.

Marcus- Hey can I talk to you Ella?
Ella- Sure...?
Marcus- Why don't you go out anymore? Why didn't you reply to my text? Why are you avoiding me?
Ella- I am avoiding you because I thought you don't like me as a friend anymore. And I felt that you don't wanna play with me and be here on my side. I also saw that your friend Jessica planned something that's why it hurts my ankle and I saw her smirked at me secretly. Why?
Marcus- I don't know why she did that... I didn't tell her to do that okay?
Ella- But what happened to you? You became very distant so I tried to ignore it so you can have your space and Jessica might do something really bad to me if I talk to you.
Marcus- I'm very sorry. I'm sorry that I replaced you for her for days and I'm sorry that I ignored you. I just did that because I thought you don't wanna be with us and spend your time playing badminton with us.
Ella- It is not like that. You know Marcus.. I've become very busy these days. I also went to visit my grandparents because my grandma is sick so I forget about you guys.
Marcus- Now I understand. Sorry that I judged you so quickly.
Ella- It's okay I forgive you. I hope we can get along and be close again like before.
Marcus- Yes! We will try that. But I'll be honest with you Ella... I don't know why Jessica did all of that to you. At First i thought she liked me that's why she did that to you. But I Confessed to her when I fell in love with her and then she rejected me.
(Ella was in shock and she was hurt)
Ella- Why do you like her?
Marcus- I don't know I just accidentally fell in love when we spent our time together. But I liked her before but I am trying to move on now.
Ella- Oh okay? Do you still have anything to say?
Marcus- I don't think so..
Ella- Ok I got to go now.
Marcus- Okay! Make sure to go outside if you have time.
Ella- Sure!
