After the whole talk with Grace earlier, Aiden and I have been trying to avoid her but later that night Grace asked if we wanted to watch a movie
Aiden and I didn't want to let Mia down, so we decide to watch a movie while trying to avoid Grace, tonights movie was one of my favourites "The Thing"
Grace sat on the chair across from Mia, Aiden and I as we sat on the couch
Aiden gets up to make us hot chocolate, he comes back with two mugs
"Grace" Aiden walked up to her with one of the mugs
"Is that for me?" She asked puzzled thinking we still hate her
"Yes" she takes the mug "Thank you" and Aiden comes back over to get me the other mug
"Thanks Aiden" then Mia starts violently coughing "It's really cold"
"You want some hot chocolate?" Grace asked "No thank you"
I reach over and feel her forehead, not feeling a sudden rising hot "Well you feel okay" I pull Mia closer as she cuddles into me while I try to keep her warm with my body heat, then I ask Aiden "Hey Honey maybe you should get the gas heater" Aiden looks over at Mia and asks
"You want me to go get the gas heater?" "Yeah" she said mumbling do to her mouth being covered with her sweater voice
Aiden left to go the basement to get the gas heater, rushing foot steps are heard as Aiden comes back with the gas heater.
He turns it on and sits back on the couch getting underneath the blanket we were sharing, I rest on head on his shoulder as I look over to see Grace with her sweater over her nose
Aiden looked over at her "Is it safe to have that on in the house?" She asked
"Yeah it's fine, it always sounds like that" then we hear a loud clang and see a painting come off the wall
Grace turns back to the tv "You guys wanna watch a different movie?" After that we change it to a Christmas movie and Grace fall asleep and awhile into the movie the rest of us fall asleep.

The next morning Aiden and I are woken up by Grace taping our shoulders and calling our names
"Aiden, Charlotte, the powers out and the pipes are frozen can you check the generator for me?" Aiden and I sit up he rubs his eyes and pushes his hair back as my eyes try to adjust from the brightness pouring though the windows
"What time is it?" Aiden asked "I don't know my phone is dead, check yours"
Aiden and I check our phones and they won't turn on "Fuck mines dead too"
