MOVING AGAIN
It had been just over three months and it was almost time for Christmas. I needed to call my parents because my family was being hunted by Voldemort because my parents are death eaters but we ran away so he wants to find us. This makes it difficult to go to school at hogwarts I have a phone so I can check up on my family I take it out and start to call my dad and he picks up
"Hey dad."
"Sweetie, you can't come home for the holidays."
"Why?"
"Because he found us so we are moving we got as much of your stuff as possible."
"Ok please be safe." I say before the line cuts off
"Shit!"
"What?" Daphne says
"They almost found us again." Daphne instantly comes over and gives me a hug
"It'll be ok." She coos and I just cry for a while
"Your gonna miss the train." I say and pull away
"I'm sorry I love you be safe." She says pulling away and running down the hall and go to my room and quickly find my vape taking in a big breath of smoke and feeling the burning down my throat as I breathe it out hoping to get high when it doesn't help much I grab my cigarettes and small bottle of alcohol and go to the astronomy tower when I get there I see Theo I give him no mind and turn to go to a window and sit in the window chill I grab my lighter vape and alcohol and put it down
"Shit!" I yell leaving my stuff and running to the train
"What's wrong Ali?" Theo says I ignore him when I get down to the train it's gone shit I need to call Daphne
"Come on pick up"! I practically yell
"Hello?" She says
"Marie, is she on the train?" I yell
"Let me go check." I wait for what feels like forever
"Yeah she is." I hear her say
"Can you take her to your house please?"
"Yes she will be safe with me."
"Thank you." I say and hang up walking quickly back to the tower when I get there I see Theo and not my stuff
"Give me my shit you dick." I say "I need it right now!"
"Calm down what's wrong?"
"Give me the alcohol and I'll tell you." I say with the most serious look on my face he grabs it and hands it to me I open it and chug it Theo looks at me
"Bad day?" He chuckles
"You have no idea." I say
"Come here, you look like you need a hug." I scoot closer to him and give him the biggest hug ever squeezing around his neck while he squeezes my waist. I just start sobbing. This is about the 10th time we've had to relocate because of Voldemort.
"What's wrong Cara Mia?" He says extremely gently
"Voldemort almost got my family again." I hiccup and stutter my words.
"What-" Theo says
SWITCH TO THEOS POV:
shit when she said Voldemort almost got her family I knew it was my fault she told me in confidence where she lived Draco and them didn't know as they weren't death eaters yet not even Tom and Mattheo because Voldemort knew they would tell her and I should but she would be heart broken
BACK TO ALIS POV:
"Are you ok?" I say
"Perfectly fine." He says but I can tell something is wrong but I don't push him yet.
