Chapter 1

When I First Saw You
It's the beginning of fifth year and I'm so excited to see my friend group we met on the train in first year and ever since then we have always been inseparable. Thankfully all of us got into slytherin, but this year when I got on the train I saw Draco and Mattheo talking to a person I saw around Hogwarts but never knew his name. He was cute though his brown wavy hair fell perfectly over his face. Most of the students knew him as the quiet kid who smoked in the astronomy tour after hours. I guess I knew the reason why Mattheo liked him. I started walking towards them and draped my arms across Draco and Mattheo's shoulders which was pretty difficult as they were taller than me.
"Hey guys. How was your summer?" I say in a flirty esque tone as all of us constantly flirted with each other for fun.
"I missed you!" Draco says "summer was super fun. How was yours?"
"Mine was good, Mattheo?"
"The usual. You know..." he says we all knew that lord Voldemort didn't treat Mattheo or his older brother Tom very well. Mattheo told me that when he did something wrong his father would use the cruciatous curse on him. He also told me it hurt a lot and even showed me some of the scars which he said was scary as he was super insecure about them. He was my best friend we shared everything with each other.
"This is Theo." He says
"Huh?" I say
"This is Theo, or Theodore Nott didn't know if you two knew each other."
"Hi, I'm Alison. Pleased to meet you Theo." I say and hold my hand out which he blatantly ignores and doesn't speak up and mattheo lean over to whisper in my ear
"Be nice to him please his mom died recently. He might be a little bit cold."
"I noticed." I say back to him but keep a smile on my face as I search for my other friends I spot Daphne, Tom, and Astoria together
"Hey I'll see you guys later." I say and wave them bye quickly and all of them return it except for Theo which was expected. I quickly walk towards my other friends
"Daphne!" I say and she looks up smiling "I have some tea." I say rushing to her and give her a hug and Tom laughs I see her sister Astoria and give her a wave as we aren't the best of friends because I take daphne's side more than hers but it's fine.
"Oh?" She pauses "well what is it?" She presses
"Oh, we'll need a private place to talk." I say and start searching for an empty compartment
"Sorry to interrupt this but Alison where the fuck is my hug?" He says exasperated as I let go of Daphne to look up at him
"Sorry Tommy. Didn't know you were a hugging person." I say he groans at the nickname and I hug him. I personally don't understand why people are so objected by the Riddles. They are super nice. Or maybe they just have a soft spot for the people who don't think they are going to kill everyone.
"You know I hate when you call me that Ali." He says and I laugh
"Yes I do Tommy. But I think your reaction is so funny." We all laugh once not and head on over back to where I came from to find everyone their Pansy, Blaise, and Enzo along with the others from earlier once we got to our normal compartments Blaise said
"Ok compartments go." We split into two groups it was Me, Theo, Daphne, Matt, and Tom in one compartment and Blaise, Enzo, Draco, Pansy, and Astoria in the other we split up and went into our compartments.
