Regret (Part 2)

This is the last part of the story.

Cheeta is on leave today while Haseena is gone out for investigation of a case. Only Karitosh and Pushpa ji are present in the thana doing their respective works. That time Revati enters the thana. The trio sees her, Pushpa ji and Santu get confused thinking who is she? Pushpa ji didn't attend Karishma's wedding while Santu had met Revati only during the wedding time which was 3 years ago so she doesn't remember her.

Karishma: Pranam amma.

Karishma touches her feet and takes blessings.

Revati: Khush raho.

Karishma: Amma aap yaha ka hua?

Revati: Kachu nahi hua beta woh toh hum bas yaha se jarahe te toh socha idhar tumhare thane aajao, darasal tum apna tiffin ghar pe hi bhul gayi thi toh wohi dene aaye te.

Karishma: Arey amma aapne kasht kahe kiya, hum bahar se bhi kuch khasakte te.

Revati: Chup raho issmein kasht ki ka baat hai? Arey apne bitiya keliye uska tiffin leke jaana kono dikkat ka karya nahi hai.

Santu: Aap Karishma maddam ki maa ho?

Revati: Ha beta.

Karishma: Amma aap bethiye na khade kahe hai.

Karishma goes and sits on her chair while Revati sits on the chair infront of Karishma's desk.

Karishma: Santu amma keliye ek thanda nimbu pani leke aao aur ussmein namak zyada dalna, amma ko zyada namak wala nimbu pani pasand hai.

Santu: Ji maddam abhi laayi.

Santu goes to bring the nimbu pani. Revati sees a cut on Karishma's hand below her wrist and gets worried.

Revati(worried): Hai bholenath e ka hua tumhare haath mein Kashi?

Karishma: Kuch nahi hua, sadharan sa ghaav hai.

Revati(sternly): Kashi.

Karishma: Theek hai batarahe hai na, humko dara kahe rahi hai?(pulling her cheeks) Ek baat kahu aap na gusse mein bade cute lagte ho.

Revati: Baat ko ghuma mat Kashi.

Karishma(sighs): Woh hum ek chor ko pakadne gaye te abhi, usne humpe chaku se hamla karke bhaagne ka prayas kiya jiske kaaran hum ghayal hue.

Revati: Par tumne dawaai kahe nahi lagayi.

Karishma: Woh hum bhul gaye sorry.

Santu comes with nimbu pani.

Santu: Yeh lijiye aunty aapka nimbu pani.

Revati: Dhanyawad isse idhar rakho aur jaake first aid box leke aayo.

Santu: Ji.

Santu brings the first.aud box and gives it to Revati. Revati cleans up Karishma's wound gently and then applies medicine. Karishma winces in pain seeing which Revati slowly blows air on the wound which gives relief to Karishma. She then bandages the wound. Pushpa ji is silently watching the exchange between the duo. Anubhav enters the thana that time.

Anubhav: Jai Hind.

Trio: Jai Hind Sir.

Anubhav sees Revati.

Anubhav: Arey amma aap yaha pranam.

Anubhav touches her feet.

Revati: Khush raho.

(Revati considers Anushma her children so both call her amma)

Anubhav: Amma aap yaha kaise?

Revati: Ha woh hum bas Kashi ko uska tiffin dene aaye te, woh ghar pe hi bhul gayi thi.
