Crows.
Vicious omnivores that will devour anything they can find.

Crow had rapidly jotted down notes as the match progressed.

Asahi's powerful spike. Hinata and Kageyama's freak quick. Sugawara's dependability. Nishinoya's quick reflexes and natural instinct. Daichi's experience. Tsukishima's height and intelligence. Tanaka's attitude. And more.

Each of the players had something unique, yet not all of them stood out.

A wicked smile spread on Crow's lips. Yes, he could work with this. His generation was going to bring Karasuno to nationals this time.

"Ne. Ne. Ukai-san, why didn't you contact me earlier. This group, they can do it." With a wicked smile Crow's eyes shined with a strange emotion as he glanced at the coach.

"Teme-! I couldn't even contact you! This your fault!" The man had to be held back by the teacher as he almost pounced on the short male. "But you're right. This year's group surely makes it." The man calmed down and spoke, a large grin on his face.

Eventually the boys said their goodbyes to the Neighborhood Association Team as it was late at night.

"Anyway... Receiving. We're nothing if we can't receive. Starting tomorrow, you've got rigorous training ahead." With a serious expression Ukai spoke

"OSU! Thanks." The boys said back. Bowing as they thanked him.

"And don't forget to stretch." The coach finalized.

"Stretches!" Daichi spoke as they began.

"OSU!" The rest of them responded

"Take your time!" Daichi told them.

Ukai let out an exhausted sigh. "Was the receiving that bad? So bad you're sighing?" The teacher asked, confused at the man's behavior.

"No, I'll come back to that later." He responded to the teacher's worries.

"You're having trouble choosing the starters, especially the setter, right Ukai-san?" Crow interrupted as he revised over his notes. Ukai glanced at the male before speaking.

"Back in the day when I'd wait to be picked as a player, I didn't even realize that it isn't easy being the picker." Ukai awkwardly scratched his neck as his statement left the teacher thinking.

"What do you think, Crow?" The coach looked at the small boy that stood beside him.

"Hmm. Well it's quite the easy pick for me. I obviously would choose Kageyama. Though if he is to ever not be doing okay Sugawara can take his place for a bit. Maybe they can even play together and have two setters on court." Crow says as he looks over his notes, mumbling his finalized statement the coach didn't hear it Slowly looking at the coach as he finished his statement.

"Gah- you're heartless" he looks up as he talks with a small grin on his face, the boy never fails to surprise him.

"Eh-?! You were the one who asked my opinion! You meany!" Crow pouted as he whined about the unfairness of being called heartless.
