Tighnari sat up, his eyes adjusting to the morning light. He sat up and rubbed his eyes. He got up, walked over to Collei's room, and softly knocked. "Get up, sweety. Time to get ready for school," he said, stretching softly. He walked over to the kitchen and made breakfast for Collei. He made her favorite a pita pocket. It didn't matter what time it was; she'd always eat one, but her dad had to make it for her to eat it. He placed the plate down. Collei ran into the kitchen with her backpack on and ran out the door to wait for the bus. "I'll see you later, love," he said, waving the little girl goodbye. She smiled at him as he closed the door.

Tighnari nearly collapsed from stress when he was alone. He was always stressed because of his daughter's illness. He walked upstairs, wiping his tears. As he arrived in his room, he started to get ready. He brushed out his tail and hair, then put on some clean clothes. He stared at his body, which displayed many scars that were self-inflicted. He was close to breaking down until he heard his phone ring.

"Hello?" He asked on the phone as he put a jacket on to hide the scars.

"Hey, it's Cyno, Just reminding you, work starts soon." The man on the phone said.

(Bro just wants an excuse to talk to him🤭)

"Oh ok?" He questioned checking the time. He looked at the time and saw it was almost 9. He rushed to grab some things, like a charger and his phone. He grabbed his car keys before he left.

Work

Tighnari walked into the office and walked to his section of the room. He sat in front of his desk. He began picking at the scabs on his arms until a figure appeared in front of him. "Heyy!" said the figure. It was Kaveh.

"Hey," He said.

"What are you picking at?" Kaveh asked.

The fox boy looked at his arm. He watched the blood almost pour from his arm. He wasn't fazed by the blood at all. "Woah, dude, let me get you something for that!" The blond said as he ran out the door to get bandages. The fox's ears fell flat on his head. The blond ran back and pulled a chair next to the fox. He lifted the fox's sleeve and bandaged his arm up. "Uh, if it's not too personal, did you do this?" The blonde asked in a concerned voice. "Just a dog," Tighnari said. The blond-haired boy didn't believe the obvious lie the fox just said but just patted his shoulder and walked off.

The fox rested his head on the desk, his ears flopping down with him. He cried quietly for about an hour until another person appeared in front of him. This voice was comforting to him. "Hello," said the figure. He looked up to see his boss. Cyno's expression changed from happy to worried. He closed the door and sat next to the fox boy. He pulled Tighnari into a tight hug, which made Tighnari cry more. Cyno said nothing and just held the fox boy in a tight embrace. The man looked at the tiny man's body. His eyes kept moving to his arm. He stared at the bandages as he suddenly heard soft snoring.

The white-haired male softly shook the fox.

"Hey, wake up." He said softly.

The fox boy woke up. "Im sorry..! sorry," the fox boy nervously said.

"It's ok, do you need to head home?" He asked.

"You could take today off," he said in a comforting way.

The fox boy's eyes seemed to shimmer as he replied to the white-haired male. "Ok..!" He said.

The white-haired male blushed slightly as he watched the fox pack up his stuff and leave.

Tighnari's home (already inside because im lazy)

The exhausted fox boy curled up on the couch, falling quickly asleep.
