Lighting up a cigarette as I go out of my car, I thought over everything that happened last night. Or earlier this morning. The rest of the deal went good. Larry didn't give me anymore trouble. Damon looked at me funny though when we were headed back to the club where his bike was parked. Lucky for him he didn't comment on anything. By the time everything was over and done with I was way too tired to even consider having a conversation.

Sebastián and Carlos however, thought differently. They were a little pissed about my 'overreaction' to what Larry said. Being the helpful and guiding brothers they are, they sat me down and explained to me I couldn't go around shooting people. I tried not to laugh at how pointless their lecture was.

The bell rang signaling that school started, but I didn't quicken my pace. I didn't technically need to be here. When I entered the building most of the students were gone, but the ones that weren't parted like the Red Sea. I wasn't complaining though, I got aggressive when people didn't move out of my way.

"This is a no smoking zone! God are you trying to kill us?" The pesky school president chided me.

"Are you going to try to take it from me?" I raised my eyebrow, challenging her. The hall way was basically empty now. "Aren't you going to be late for class?"

"Mr. Roberts will understand when I tell him I was only enforcing the rules." Miss Perfect told me. She adjusted her flower head band in her blonde hair and gave me a pointed look.

"Okay, okay. I'll put it out. And I'll make sure never to pick up a cig again." I smiled sweetly at her, then reached up to put the cigarette out on her headband. "Thank you for setting me straight. Have a good day."

I strolled off with a smirk as I heard her shrieking. Today was already starting off good.

I was starving when lunch finally rolled around, but I wasn't going to get to eat. I had to sit in the office, waiting for the Principal to be done with his meeting. Apparently putting a cig out in someone's hair was frowned upon.

Entering the office I took in the small room, the plants near the windows, and the middle schooler in my chair. Yes I had a chair. I've sat in the same chair since 6th grade. I gave the kid a glare and he immediately slid into a different seat. Thankfully the chairs were comfortable, so I just rested my head on the lavender walls and closed my eyes.

"He will see you now deary." The old woman behind the desk peered up at me from behind her desk.

Getting up with a groan, I made my way to Principal Freeland's office. "I assume you know why you're here." Mr. Freeland was a short, bald man that thought cartoon characters looked good on his ties.

He went on without waiting for my answer, "First off: smoking on school grounds is not allowed. At all. And second of all you can't harm other students."

"What are you going to do? Expel me?" I roughly propped my combat boots on his desk.

"No, something much worse." Mr. Freeland looked like he thought of the most evilest plan ever, "You will be apologizing to Alice."

"Not gunna happen Freeland." I fiddled with my nails, they need a paint job soon.

"I thought you might say that, that's why I took the liberty of having Miss Conners waiting out in the office so I can have you apologize right here."

"And if I don't?" I lifted my dark brown eyes to meet his dull grey ones.

"You'll have to tutor kids every day after school." He seemed pleased with himself.

"Whatever." Tutoring kids was definitely nothing I was going to be doing.

Mr. Freeland stepped out of the office then returned shortly with Alice Connors.

"I see your headband is gone." I commented. Searching the little room, my eyes found a picture of Mr. Freeland sitting proudly in his car. Toyota Camry. I'll have to remember that.

"Boomer! I'm home!" I called out into the house; not bothering to call for my Papì since there was no way he'd be home.

Boomer came galloping down the stairs, his ears flopping a little bit as he came down. He was definitely a gorgeous dog. As all Rottweilers are. "You want to go for a swim?" I asked while I was scratching him behind his ears. He answered me with a quick bark.

My house was fit for a King. Literally. That's what my Grandpapì built it for. He decided that the Sangre Azul Leader needed a nice place. Which is why he built it near the beach.

I hurriedly run up the staircase so I can get into the water sooner. I stripped out of my school clothes and into my blue monokini that showed my tattoo nicely. Grabbing Boomers leash and frisbee, we made our way to the beach.

The sand was soft and warm, but the water was bitterly cold. Mi Papì taught me that if you stand still for a couple of waves, soon you won't feel a thing.

A wolf whistle interrupted Boomer and I after we spent a couple I hours swimming and playing. "Hola precioso señorita!"

Turning I saw Juan in some rolled up jeans and a black singlet. "Hey Juan! What brings you out here?" I crept out of the water a little grudgingly with Boomer.

"Your father. He found out about our English project and asked me to come over here to make you get it done."

"You're joking right?" I asked in disbelief. Wait a second.. "Juan we aren't even in English."

"I know, I just wanted to come over and drink. The club has too many people for my liking tonight." Juan gave a chuckle then handed me a towel, which I wrapped tightly around myself; considering I forgot to bring my own.

I smiled, "Sounds good to me."
