-Chapter 3: A New Truth-

Yaniss POV

"Irminsul? Um..." Yaniss scratched her head. Unfortunately, her memory failed her at that exact moment.

Sailus decided to interject. "It's been contaminated by some sort of virus, right?"

"As far as we know, yes.", responded Emily. "You guys know about the forbidden knowledge that almost wiped out Sumeru 500 years ago, right? And the cube virus that destroyed Khanrei'ah? The virus that's killing Irminsul is almost like a combination of the two."

Blair nodded. "It's cube shaped. And it contains some sort of dangerous knowledge."

"Wow," said Zoe. "That's a really helpful description."

Yaniss and Zoe looked at each other. Cube shaped virus, almost wiped out Sumeru... combination of the two...

"Wait," said Sailus. "Blair, you're not from this world or our world, but you know everything about Teyvat already?"

Blair gave him a look. "Two of my parents are from this world. One is from another."

"You have three parents?! How is that possible?"

"Don't question it.", said Yaniss. "It's just how I designed him," she added in a whisper.

"Designed... Blair?", asked Sailus.

"Uhh," whispered Yaniss. Yaniss stared at him in shock. "You heard that?! Am I that bad at whispering?"

Sailus leaned closer, staring at her intently."Yeah. So..." he started.

At that moment, Zoe decided to butt in, clutching her stomach. "Owwww, my stomach really hurts... I think I need Yaniss's help with gIrL sTuFf."

"You do? Why m-!?" Yaniss was cut off when Zoe grabbed her and dragged her to a nearby bush, where they hid and started whispering to each other.

"So," Zoe whispered. "What have you learned so far?"

Yaniss stared blankly at her. "Why do you always expect me to know everything?"

"Because I know you do."

"What kind of logic is tha-"

"Shh! Tell me everything that happened from your perspective today."

Yaniss sighed in exasperation. This was the first time Zoe had ever acted less mature than her.

Nevertheless, she still started to recount the events of the day so far.

"Basically, we beat the Vivianne, got teleported here, just like some other people we know, plus my original character. We went to the tavern and started talking to Diluc about some Irminsul thingy, which is basically getting destroyed by a combination of the Sumeru disaster 500 years ago and the 'cube virus' that yoinked Khanrei'ah out of existence . We get attacked by some Fatui, who everyone in the world except for Venti has completely forgotten about. Anyways, back to the cube thingy. You know how Diluc mentioned that someone was purposely causing it?"

Zoe nodded intently, amazed at her friend's amazing deduction abilities.

"I think it has something to do with The Evil White-Haired Lady that showed up in the first scene of the game."

Zoe immediately slapped her forehead in desperation. "All your explanations for something we could have figured out on our own?"

"Well, gee," started Yaniss. "My mind span isn't that high, you know." She shrugged and brushed off some leaves that got stuck to her clothes.

Zoe groaned, rubbing between her eyes. "Mind span? That's not even a word. It's called IQ, Yaniss."

"Well, anyways, I was thinking that since we and Emily were teleported here while defeating a Genshin boss, which I'm assuming happened to Sailus as well, it could have something to do with the traveller being stuck in this dimension because of the Evil White-Haired lady."
