Barnabas and Ruby were lost in each other's eyes until Lily cleared her throat making ruby snap out of her daze and went to introduce herself

"My name is ruby Richmond it's a pleasure to meet you" ruby said holding her hand out to shake his but instead of shaking it Barnabas pulled her knuckles to his lips and kissed it

"The pleasure is all mine...ruby...I'm Barnabas Collins the 3rd" Barnabas said as he looks at ruby making her blush immensely Lily cleared her throat again making ruby respond "yes I'll eat breakfast now Lily" Ruby said as she sat next to Lily

Ruby's pov

I sat next to Lily and I couldn't help but feel like I've met Barnabas before in a past life but I focused on eating my breakfast 'but I can feel his gaze on me'

Barnabas's pov

It feels like a dream meeting the reincarnation of my beloved Rosetta Creel she was so sweet and innocent but with a mischievous side to her as well I remember the day I first met her the day I arrived on the ship with my family...

Flashback to Barnabas as a kid...

I was a new soul wandering through the land of the unexpected I was but a boy when I met my beloved and she was but an angel fallen from heaven

I wandered through the forest looking through it when I heard a loud whistle which made me curious about who might be making that noise

I walked through and encountered a mad dog which barked at me "heel" a soft voice said making the dog stop growling at me and walk away to it's mistress

I saw her gorgeous long crimson red hair and beautiful golden brown eyes which I couldn't help but admire she looked up at me and smiled

"Do you plan on standing there all day... come sit" she said offering me a seat next to her against the tree I sat next to her accepting her offer

She drew in her sketchbook which I took a glimpse of even for a young girl with little knowledge of the outside world she was an exceptional artist

"I'm Barnabas...Barnabas Collins" I introduced myself holding my hand out to shake her's she turned to me and smiled "Rosetta Creel" she said shaking my hand labeling us as acquainted

15 years later...

When we got older after I had rejected Angelique I was more infatuated with Rosetta than I could ever find myself to be

Rosetta drew Barnabas in his pose "will this take any longer" young Barnabas said still in his pose "don't whine it's almost done" Rosetta said drawing in the last detail

"Alright...it's done" Rosetta said as Barnabas stopped his pose and walked over to sit next to Rosetta she showed him the picture

"That's quite a likeness" Barnabas said rubbing his chin "your an exceptional artist my dear I don't know why you don't make a career from this" Barnabas said

"I told you before I have no interest in selling my drawings to total strangers" Rosetta said as young Barnabas pulled her in his lap to lean against the tree

"Very well you don't want to sell your pictures...but please allow me to offer you a proposal" Barnabas said making Rosetta freeze in her drawing

She turned to face him "so..
What sort of proposal did you have in mind" Rosetta said softly as Barnabas reached a hand out to caress her cheek

"Marry me Rosetta Creel" Barnabas said as she looked at him "I wonder...should I accept your proposal or should I not" Rosetta said acting mischievous

"You really...you little vixen" Barnabas said sucking in his breath holding his smile as he tickled her sides making her laugh

Barnabas layed on the ground with Rosetta facing him "that wasn't fair you did that on purpose" she said with a charming smile

"Well it weren't for your teasing I wouldn't have done..." Barnabas said but Rosetta quickly rolled her eyes and leaned in to kiss Barnabas shutting him up

Barnabas immediately reciprocated the kiss grabbing her waist bringing her closer the kiss was broken by Rosetta "yes...I will marry you Barnabas Collins" she said

Barnabas sat up and held her close "your finally all mine" Barnabas said pressing a kiss to her temple as Rosetta leaned against his chest

After Barnabas remembered his past with Rosetta he was determined to court her in this life not knowing the one who chained him was still living as well

Down in Angel bay...

People were greeting Angie who was really Angelique from the past she was in the fishing port at the factory

She was talking to one of the workers "to tell you the truth I think their just a little spooked about what happened last night" he said

"What do you mean" Angie said "didn't you hear they found 11 workers dead off route 9 in the morning" another worker said

"Well accidents happen" Angie said as if it was no big deal "it wasn't an accident some maniac ripped their throats out" the worker said Which made Angie turn to face him "where off route 9" she said

At the crime scene...

There was an empty coffin in the ground Angie looked down at the coffin with an unreadable expression on her face

She drove all the way to Collinwood she walked out of the car and knocked on the door "alright I heard you the first 20 times keep your damn panties..." Willie opened the door and cringed seeing Angie "on" he finished

"I'll do my best a word with Barnabas Collins please" Angie said gesturing inside "well he's...um...who" Willie said playing dumb

"Oh I think you know who black hair handsome features strange clothes covered in fresh blood" Angie said as she walked inside without being invited into the house by Willie
