It had been hours since the mystery woman had left Edeline in the tent and by this time Edeline had gone silent knowing that no one would listen. She was already defeated. 'I'm never going to be rid of him.' she thought as she stared at the weapons in the corner. All she ever wanted to do is prove that her life could be worth while, that she was strong enough to save everyone but she couldn't do it tied up and being held captive.

Meanwhile, outside the tent the rest of the camp was bustling. This camp was run by the mystery woman who wanted to ransom off Edeline to her father. Her name is Cameron, Cam for short. Cameron was originally from the south side of the village, but now whenever anyone ask's she tells them shes from the woods. This is true to some extent, she left the village when she was sixteen hoping that when she was older she would be stronger so she could help those who live on the south side. She was now 20, one year older than the princess and the plan was set. She would send a letter to King Damion offering to bring back the princess but for a certain price, she would offer to bring the princess back to the palace and the king would accept and it would be at that point during the hand over that Cameron and her people would storm the castle killing anyone who gets in there way.

"So boss, when are we putting the plan in motion?" asks one of the fighters of the forest village but Cameron didn't answer she just made her way back to her tent after going to pick up a new sword and axe from the villages blacksmith. Once back in her tent neither Edeline or Cameron say anything, but the cogs where going in Edeline's mind where going because she knew that she had to make Cameron trust her, she couldn't let herself be sold back, she couldn't go back to her old life.

"Why are you doing this?" Edeline snaps just wanting a reason but she gets no response, "I haven't done nothing to you, so why? Hm, please just tell me what I've done that so bad!" Edeline's voice went from quiet to loud with anger. "You've done nothing wrong," Cameron scoffs, "You are one of them. Royalty. You just stand by when your father makes the rich richer and the poor poorer-" Cameron stops herself and looks at Edeline then leans against the table, looking intrigued, "What where you doing in the woods?" Edeline looks at her and sighs, " I told you, I ran away." Cameron rolls her eyes, " But why? Why would a princess run away?" The princess takes a breath, " My father arranged a marriage for me and this prince and I didn't want to marry him so I ran. Then I saw the village and I couldn't go back and let that stand, so I vowed that when I ran into the woods and that I wouldn't come out until I could overthrow him." Cameron looks at the princess surprised, as if she couldn't believe that a princess could say something that sounds so unbelievable but it be the truth.

Edeline just sits patiently waiting for Cameron, who at this point is still a mystery to the princess, to reply with a snarky comment of some sort but she doesn't. So she takes the opportunity to ask the rebel something.
"What's your name?" The princess asks. Cameron looks at the princess and sighs.
"My name is Cameron, Cam for short if your a friend." With that Cameron stops leaning and walks behind the princess and unties her, "What's this for?" The princess asks rubbing her red wrists, attempting to soothe them. Cameron looks at her annoyed, "I'm letting you go. I don't usually do this but you can stay here until dawn but after that I want you gone." Edeline, not believing this is happening, just stares at the rebel. "I thought you couldn't trust me." She states as she gets off the ground and is making her way to the tent entrance, "I usually don't but with how much you're risking, it's the least i could do." Cameron looks at Edeline and sees nothing but a smile of the princesses face. "So you can be nice?" The princess says, Cameron's face went from calm to angered, "Don't ever call me nice because I'm far from it," she says through gritted teeth, "I am just enough of a decent person to give you a chance." Edeline looks up at Cameron, only just realizing how tall the rebel is, "But why though?" Cam looks at the roof, takes a deep breathe then looks down at the princess,
"Because trust is everything."
