Cameron had built the hidden village from the ground up. She started off in the south side of the kingdom and like everyone else in the south side, she was treated like nothing because thats what they had. Nothing. As a child, she never cared about not having anything because her parents gave her all the love that she could ever ask for. However, as Cameron grew older she saw more than most people, she saw how they were treated compared to the north siders and she grew resentful.
Cameron wasn't the only one to see how different the kingdom was, everyone did but the rich didn't care and the poor were too terrified to say anything, but when she turned eighteen her and her two friends, Quinn and Chase. Quinn was Cameron's next door neighbor and best friend, she was 5 when she met Cam and they got on like a house on fire. Chase was Quinn's younger brother and became friends with Cameron as he grew older and all thee of them agreed that they would change the way of the kingdom. They all believed, whole heartedly, that they could change everything but they weren't stupid and knew that to really pull change off they needed more people. So at the end of Cameron's eighteenth birthday they all left, and would go back to the village every months to recruit more people and soon there hidden village became the same size as the south side.
Now Cameron is twenty-one and the rebel village is bustling. Children run around playing happier than they could ever be, people are training left, right and center preparing for the fight of a lifetime and on the other side o the village is the blacksmith laughing with the towns-people and making swords. Edeline walked out of the tent and saw the beautiful sight of the village and was in shock.
"This is beautiful", Edeline muttered under her breath. She turned to Cameron and saw the smile on her face, "Can i join?" Edeline blurted out without thinking. Cameron's just laughed and looked at the princess and saw she wasn't joking, "Listen Princess, no offense but there is no way that you of all people can do what we do." She stated. "Please, I want to help. I told you, I hate my father just as you do and I want to help you take him down." Edeline was dead serious, she couldn't let her father win. Not as he had done before, "Do you know how to fight princess?" Cam asked, Edeline looked away. "No but I'm willing to learn. Please, let me help." The princess was looking at the rebel leader again and Cameron could see that she was serious. She didnt want to admit it but they could use the princesses help, "Wait here." Cam said as she walked away to find Quinn and Chase.
They where in the training area sparing, Quinn sees Cameron and stops then nudges Chase to stop.
"I need your advice on something." Cam says, Quinn and Chase looked at each other then Chase says, "Absolutely what do you need?" Cam takes a deep breath, "What if we changed... the plan?" She says weary of the reactions yet to come. "What the hell do you mean change the plan!" Quinn exclaims, confused and angry at the question that has just come out of her bed friends mounts, "Look I know that it's last minute but the princess-" Chase and Quinn roll their eyes and scoff, "Are you serious right now? You want to change the plan that has been in motion for three years, because of the princess," Quinn says annoyed at Cam, "She is just like them, we are not changing the plan." Chase chimes in. Cam understood where they were coming from but just after having a small conversation with Edeline she knew that she wasn't like them. "Guys please if you just give her a chance then," Quinn interrupts cam mid sentence, "You better not be putting your feelings before justice." Cam glares at Quinn, "I am not putting my feelings first, if you let me finish we can use her knowledge of the castle to get in and threaten the king with his precious daughter's life." She said stone cold and Quinn and Chase looked at each other, "What happens if all hell breaks loose and the princess gets caught of the crossfire?" Chase asks with Quinn nodding in agreement, "Then we teach her to fight and if worst comes to worst we kill the king and take over."After the back and forth with Quinn and Chase, Cameron returns to her entourage with Edeline still stood outside.
"So how did it go?" Edeline asks, Cameron doesn't respond she just grabs the princesses arm and drags her into the tent, "You are only saying for one reason and that is so you can give us the information we need but at the end we are still giving you back force same price we had in mind." Cam said angrily, and Edeline was scared. "Is that understood?" Cam asked getting impatient, "But i thought that i was going to join the-" Cam squeezed the princesses arm, "
You will never be apart of the rebellion, your a princess. You will never be like us."
