It was finally the last week of term, and Ivy couldn't be more excited. The last week of term means that it's near Christmas and who doesn't love Christmas?
Ivy woke up to her alarm at 5:00am like always. She adjusts pillows, grabs her phone and scrolls on snap for a few minutes before getting up and choosing her clothes.

After getting dressed, Ivy followed the rest of her morning routine: saying morning to Nate and her mom, getting breakfast and driving with Nate to school.
In the car it was silent. Ivy's mind was full of thoughts. Thoughts about Cami and how they have barely hung out recently, about Matt, about the project which was due tomorrow. Her mind was full.
"Ivy?" Nate looked at his sister.
"Yeah?" Ivy smiled.
"Are you okay? You looked kind of lost in your own head."
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks for asking"
"No worries"
The rest of the drive was complete silence. The only noise coming from Nate's phone and the few sounds the car was making.
Once they arrive at school, Ivy parks the car as usual and her and Nate head towards the canteen.
As usual, Ivy and Nate were the last ones to arrive. Everyone, including Luke, was already sat at a table talking about something random.
The day went by fast, it was finally a normal day again, no awkwardness, everyone was together and having a good time.
Matt and Ivy's projects are due in the following day and they still have a small section left to do. They decided to meet up at lunch to finish it off.
"Hey Matt" Ivy says walking towards the table he was sat on in the library.
"Hey" he said back looking up from the text book on the table infront of him.
"How much of this do we have left?"
"One more page in the text book and then we are done."
"Great! Let's do it then!"
It only took around 15 minutes for them to finish the project. They decided that Matt would take it home with him and he would hand it in tomorrow.
The rest of the day flew by, before Ivy knew it she was in the car with Nate and Cami on their way home.
"Cami" Ivy looks in the rear view mirror at her slightly before looking back towards the road.
"Yeah?"
"Wanna have a Christmas movie marathon tonight?"
"UHH DUHHH!!!" Cami exclaims.
"Am I invited to this?" Nate asks in a joking tone.
"Bitch duh" Ivy laughs.
Everything was normal again. Her, Nate, and Cami hanging out after school everyday like usual. Nothing could ruin how happy Ivy is, nothing at all.
