Cami and Nate walk back home after going on all the rides by the pier.
They open the door and are greeted by laughter coming from the living room. They walk in to see Matt and Ivy laughing their heads off, Ivy is curled into a ball on the floor due to her laughing that much. Matt is lying next to her on his back with his hand on his chest.
"Hey?" Nate says, clearly confused.
"Oh hey" Ivy says still laughing as she sits up, "Have fun?"
"Yeah" Cami says smiling putting her hand in Nate's.
"Ohhhh i see" Matt says smiling "it's about time!"
"I know!" Ivy laughs.
"Oh shut up!" Nate says laughing, "It's getting late I'm going to bed."
"I'll come too" Cami says making sure it's ok with him.
"You can stay over if you want Matt, but you'll have to stay in my room" Ivy says standing up.
"Sure" Matt says doing the same.
"I'll get you some of Nate's pjs" Ivy says as she walks up the stairs with Matt not too far behind.
"You can go in my room I'll be one second."
She knocks on Nate's door "Nate?" she says slowly opening the door "can I come in?"
"Yeah"
Ivy opens the door fully and sees Nate and Cami on the bed in their pjs.
"Guess you're sleeping in here?" Ivy smiles not waiting for a reply off of her friend. "Thought so" Ivy says brightly. "I'm just grabbing some pjs for Matt"
"Where is he gonna stay?" Nate asks.
"My room" she shrugs "we don't mind" Ivy says closing the dresser drawer.
"Goodnight" Cami shouts as Ivy leaves the room.
"Here" Ivy says throwing Matt the pjs as she walks into her room. "Thanks" Matt says walking to the bathroom to get changed.
"So what do you want to do?" Matt says opening the bathroom door "Watch a movie?"
"best idea I've heard all day" Ivy says grabbing her tv remote and turning on her tv. "Disney?"
"Sure" Matt says getting in the bed.
They watch loads of Disney movies, before Ivy says "You know what will be fun?"
"What?"
"Face mask!"
"No way"
"Yes way!" Ivy says grabbing Matt wrist pulling him to the bathroom.
"I hate you" Matt says now with a black face mask on him.
"Love you too"
Matt knows she only means it as a friend but the butterflies in his stomach come back for the first time in days.
'I need to stop liking her, she is just a friend'
"Let's go bake brownies!" Ivy says running out her bedroom and down the stairs. Matt slowly following behind.
