The group starts to walk through Luke's neighbourhood taking in everything around them.
"Your neighbourhood is massive" Ivy laughs.
"I know, I love it"
They walk around for about 10 minutes before Cami asks, "Is anyone hungry?"
"Yes"
"Very"
"There is a McDonald's around the corner we can be there in about five minutes" Luke informs the rest of the group.
"Ok let's go"
"Yay!"
"It's kind of cold can we run?" Cami says with a slight shiver
"You want to run?" Nate questions, "for five minutes?"
"It's more like four now"
"take my jacket" Nate smiles
"Thanks Nate"
"No problem" He smiles as he wraps his arm around her shoulder pulling her in to him as they walk.
"Hey Ivy"
"Hey Matt"
"You ok?"
"Yeah I'm good, you?"
"I'm alright now"
"I'm glad"
They all walk together in a horizontal line, taking up the whole road.
"I love how quiet it is"
"Yeah there are no cars"
"THERE IT IS!" Cami shouts "can we run nowww"
"Sure"
"Race ya!"
They all start running as fast as they can.
"Hey, Marina" Luke says to the lady.
"Oh hey Luke, what can i get you today" she smiles.
"Can I get my usual and-" he looks to the rest of the group, "what you guys want?"
Everyone tells Luke their orders and he passes it on to Marina.
"Is that all?"
"Yep, thanks Marina"
"No problem, that's $forty-five dollars and fifty cents"
Luke places his card on the reader.
'Approved'
"All done, your food will be ready soon"
"Thanks Marina" he pauses and turns before saying "Let's go sit down"
"Alright"
They all follow Luke to a spot in the corner.
"Do you come here often?"
"Yeah, my mom and dad are always busy and my brothers can't cook, so I get a maccies most days"
"Oh"
"Yeah"
An awkward silence fills the table.
"How many brothers do you have?"
"Three"
"That's a lot"
"Yeah, I'm the youngest obviously"
"What are your brothers names?"
"Elijah, Rowan and Jake."
"Cool"
"Order number thirty-one!" A man shouts from behind the counter.
"That's us"
"We'll grab it"
"Ok thanks"
Ivy and Cami grabs the food and drinks and heads over to the table.
"Here you go Matt" Ivy says handing him his food.
"There's yours Nate" Cami says.
Ivy and Cami then take it in turns passing the others their food.
"Everyone got their food?"
"Yep"
"Alright let's head home"
