Chapter 16: A Festive Beginning

Once again our 8 heroes (idiots) were gathered together watching Team RWBY fight ABRN from Mistral as Port's and Oobleck's voices were heard.

Port: If this is your first time watching, allow us to break down the rules.

Oobleck: The tournament is divided into three distinctive rounds; teams, doubles, and singles. Age and school year are irrelevant! In this tournament-

The 8 idiots then decided to tune them out as they spoke to each other.

Mike: Alright, we beating the crap out of each other physically, or we shoot each other dead?

Lane: Can you summon Totem's of Undying?

Mike: Oh, yeah totally.

Soon 8 solid gold totems appeared in Mike's arms. Everyone then took one with their non-dominant hand.

Landon: So, we gonna shoot each other?

Lane: Yuh.

Hassan: Aura or no Aura?

Logan then spoke out with everyone looking up to him.

Logan: Alright, with Aura say aye.

Emmanuel/Hassan/Daylin: Aye.

Logan: Alright 3 over 5, no Aura it is.

Mike: Not like it matters, gunpowder would probably shatter it anyway.

Logan: True too.

Mike: Alright, anyone take a guess what our arena will be?

Everybody gave their response of a no, either by saying no, shrugging or just shaking their head.

Mike: Greaaaat. Well the milsim gear is in our lockers now so yeah. And I have a surprise for myself if we need it.

Lane: Useful for us, or is going probably going to kill us?

Mike: Both.

Lane: Wonderful! We're dead!

Mike: Ah, we'll be fine.

Emmanuel: Suuuuure.

Timeskip

Ruby: -...is anyone else starving?

Mike: Waiting and watchin' you fight for a while? Definitely.

Ruby gave a sheepish laugh.

Ruby: Sorry we took a while...

Mike: Ah, it's alright, I've gone a day without eating.

RWBY then looked to Mike while the rest of his friends fucked around.

Weiss: How are you even alive?

Mike: No clue.

Blake: Well, I may have worked up an appetite. 

Weiss: Gee, if only there was somewhere on campus to get food around here. 

Weiss then gestured to the myriad of small shops spread across the grounds with Yatsuhashi  being seen flexing in front of two girls nearby. A pair of Atlesian Knight-200's on patrol walk past the girls as they talk with Ruby putting her hand on Weiss' shoulder..

Weiss: Oh, wait.

Ruby: It's okay, Weiss, I forget about the fairgrounds, too.

Weiss then knocked Ruby's arm away.

Weiss: I was being facetious?

Hassan: The fuck does that mean?

Weiss then looked back to the black haired Indian.
