At astronomy tower.
yn was alone looking up at the stars until cedric diggory accompanied her.
cedric: what are u doing here *whispers*
yn: *slowly brings her wand closer to herself and smiles* oh diggory, I was having trouble sleeping, so yeah.
yn had always felt uncomfortable near cedric for no specific reason and she just wanted him to leave.
cedric: me too. now we can both be in each other's company. *laughs*
yn didn't join in his laugh or even smile, which caused cedric to awkwardly hum a song.
god make him leave somehow he's so creepy. she thought to herself.
then there was someone entering the tower which caused yn and cedric to jerk their head backwards.
mattheo it was.
he walked and stood next to where yn and cedric were sitting.
mattheo: diggory, draco's looking for you.
cedric: u-uh is he? what for?
mattheo: said he had some accounts to clear.
cedric: u-um-ill get going.
and then he walked away.
mattheo and yn then sat in silence under the crescent moon.
yn: draco thinks hufflepuffs are disgusting.
mattheo: life changing information.
yn: *rolls her eye* why'd u lie? *looks at him*
mattheo: cause you thought he was creepy? *still looking at the moon*
yn: well thank you but i could've shooed him away myself. *looks away*
there was then a peaceful silence.
yn: hold up. how'd u know i thought he was creepy?
mattheo: *shrugs*
yn: did you read my mind? *keeps her hands on her hips*
mattheo: no shit sherlock.
now i've to think before thinking ?! she thought to herself
mattheo: *stands up and takes off his jacket* it's cold, wear this.
his voice had no emotions
yn looked at him for a minute in astonishment.
mattheo: *rolls his eye* stop making ur stupid little brain work too much. i'm doing this just because you're malfoy's sister.
yn: watch your mouth when you talk to me *keeps her wand under his jaw*
yn then walks away and mattheo followed behind her while poking his cheek with his tongue and keeping his hands in his pocket with his jacket on his forearm.
the next day
yn pov
i entered the boys dormitory as i had some things to discuss with draco. the whole night all i could think about was what mattheo had said earlier, "stop making ur stupid little brain work too much. i'm doing this just because you're malfoy's sister." first of all how dare he call my brain stupid and little and secondly does he think of me as a sister? idk why but the thought of him thinking of me as his sister makes me feel something negative.
i twisted the knob of draco's dorm door as i thought to leave the thoughts of mattheo behind.
fuck riddle
i opened the door to see mattheo looking at me with a smirk on his face.
