Sakura believes that there is a lot of power in hate...
That hate can always give strength and will to the person seeking it , just like it gave her.
Her hate for those who took what she loved the most , has always given her power to move , fight and live. And she knows that it is this hate which would bring her closer to her goal...her vengeance.

Sasuke loves his family a lot , especially his brother but there is someone else as well whom he admires and loves.

He has crush on a girl named Sakura. Has had it ever since he saw her . why ? How could he not like her , she was beautiful,  her long pink hair , those wide emerald green eyes , that pale white skin , that mysterious attitude and her remarkable skills despite being from a clan with no special abilities.

Sakura wasn't like other girls she never chased after him or fangirled over him . She was one of the very very few girls who never looked at him and blushed .

Sasuke never expressed his feeling nor did anyone know about it well except his brother Itachi , who never leaved chance of teasing him about it .

Unlike Naruto , Lee and a few other boys , Sasuke never fanboyed over Sakura,  no matter how much he liked her he still had his Uchiha pride in him . His ego didn't let him act how those foolish boys did. But of course he knew that he liked her a lot , or to say he had the biggest crush on her .

Sasuke asked or more likely begged Itachi to not tell his mother about his crush, because he knew that if his mother were to find out his father would too and he also knew that his father would be greatly disappointed in him and he wanted to make him proud.
To his surprise Itachi agreed maybe because he too knew what kind of a man his father was...

But leaving that aside Sasuke ended up on the same team as Sakura, that made him extremely happy but as everyone says everything comes with a price , the third teammate of their team was none other than Naruto Uzumaki,  a sun-kissed skinned,  blue eyed,  Pain in the ass ,blonde who too harboured a great crush on Sakura.

Throughout their genin days Sasuke and naruto always competed to win Sakura's affection .
Sakura knew about Naruto liking her but she knew nothing about Sasuke feeling the same way , but either way she couldn't care less .

Sasuke always wished to be as open and good at expressing feelings like naruto .

He learned that Sakura wanted to Kill the members of a certain organisation,  later his brother told him that Sakura's parents were killed by the Akatsuki- a criminal organisation,  he felt bad for her and got more determined in making her feel loved.

Sakura was blinded by hate and revenge and that's why she decided to leave the village and train under another rouge ninja , Orochimaru .

Of course Sasuke tried to stop her he....

.....confessed to her.

On the night she was leaving he finally told her how he felt ,

"You... you are so annoying Sakura !!! , stop doing these things...please... Please don't leave the village,  please... I- I really really like you Sakura ! , so please don't leave !!"

Sakura was extremely surprised,  the last thing she expected was the mostly expressionless Uchiha to like her , she didn't care or so she thought , it pained her to leave but she had to... deep inside the pinkette knew that she too felt the same way for him...

So after a simple ' Thank You ' she knocked him out .

After that night , years passed and along with Naruto,  Sasuke swore to bring Sakura back no matter what , he was not going to let Sakura get consumed in hate .

She tried to Kill him twice but that didn't stop him from loving her ,
He was madly and desperately in love with her , and there was nothing he could do about that , he loved Sakura Haruno , and always wondered if she felt the same way ....

.... she did.
