"this is brielle, she works at that music shop." ashton introduced me to everyone. "luke's the one with noodle legs, michael is the one with barely hair, and calum's the 'spot the difference' member of the band." he pointed to everybody, and i couldn't help but to laugh at each of his nicknames.

noodle legs groaned. "really, ashton? i'm not even that tall compared to like, cal." he spoke rather loudly, crossing his arms. "you're just jealous because you and michael are like, three feet tall."

ashton shot luke a glare. "ha-ha, very funny. and you're just jealous the world is a whole lie; you're the tallest mountain in the world, not mount everest."

"this is normally how everything is, run while you can!" michael exclaimed jokingly, giving me a warming smile. "i'm kidding, but excuse them. luke doesn't know how to shut his mouth."

"you guys seem like a fun group, there's no harm in spending time with attractive boys in a good band is there?" i shrugged my shoulders, and michael nodded his head. "you're a keeper."

michael and i stayed at listened to the banter for awhile, taking gradual sips of my water as i waited for them to find common grounds. it was amusing to just watch them.

eventually, ashton must have noticed that he was getting absolutely nowhere with luke, turning back to me flustered and a teeny bit embarrassed. "anyways, as i was saying before noodle had to get all boiled, we have a good selection of movies. care?"

i nodded my head. "i like good selections of movies, i'll take you up on it."

ashton wrapped an arm around my shoulder, his bracelet hitting the surface of my exposed shoulder. i looked to my right, counting and observing his arm full of bracelets. "where did you even get some of these? i've never seen them."

"it's called hell of the internet, you gotta go deep and dark into the internet for some crazy shit." ashton shrugged. "i can show you a few stores online."

i smiled. "you know me so well, kid."

"what can i say? a girl who likes bracelets and good music is a girl for me."
