"Love! Tulungan mo ako dito asap."

"Kakatapos ko lang maglinis sa kotse. I'll be right there in a minute."

"I think you might wanna hurry. My water just broke, love."

"Oh papunt— HA?! TEKA, CALM DOWN LANG. I'M HERE, WHATEVER YOU NEED."

"Mikha, calm down. Deep breaths, I want you to get our emergency bag and start the engine sa kotse quick so we could go to the hospital as soon as possible. I will be waiting sa labas for you. Parang ikaw pa yung buntis sa ating dalawa dahil sa panic mo."

"Sige, I could do that. Ano ba yan, wala yung yaya natin and I don't think I can handle this all to myself!"

"I think you know who to call. We will call that person when we are inside the car but for now kilos ka na please."

Mikha hurriedly went to their bedroom to get the bag her wife was pertaining to and locked the doors of their home. She assisted Aiah to ride at the back seat of the car and bilis din siyang nakasakay sa driver's seat para makapunta na sila sa hospital. As she stopped on a traffic signal, nag dial siya ng isang emergency contact they can always rely on.

"Hey, Mikhs. Napatawag ka?"

"Busy ba kayo ni Ate Colet?"

"She's still at work pero for me naman kakatapos lang ng shift ko. What's up?"

"Punta ka sa hospital bilis, alam mo na ano ang nangyayari and papunta na kami doon."

"OMG! Is it happening na? Sige, on the way na ako. Drive safely and please calm down ha, panikera ka pa naman.

The call just ended casually as they were already near sa hospital. Meanwhile, Aiah was now having a hard time breathing and taking control with the pain she is handling.

"Malapit na po, love. Hang in there lang."

Mikha had no choice but to speed up her driving as she beeps the other vehicles to give way. That tactic made them arrive sa hospital entrance in no time as Mikha called a nurse to assist them quick. Walang choice si Mikha na tumulong sa kanyang asawa because she had to park the car but Jhoanna was right on time sa pagdating niya that she volunteered to let her handle the car and valuables of the couple while they focus on Aiah's baby delivery.

*after three hours*

Jhoanna was just sitting by the hospital canteen as she waits for her friends and nagulat siya na may tao sa likod niya.

"I came as soon as I heard the news."

"It's good that you are already here, mahal. Timing ka rin kasi wala pa akong balita sa dalawa eh."

"All we have to do is wait. I am sure malapit na matapos yun considering healthy yung conditions both ni Aiah at ng baby in the previous checkups."

"I do hope so. Hindi ka ba pagod from work? You could have changed sana sa bahay bago ka pumunta dito."

"We just extinguished a small fire so yeah a bit tiring pero our friends need us eh."

"I love you and thank you for being patient and understanding always."

"I love you, Jhoanna Vergara. Tigilan mo na ang pag overthink and kumain ka na diyan. Kanina pa kita nakita na parang nag lag sa upuan mo."
