Human. (Golden Gaurd X reader)

Eda POV:

Owlburt had just come back with some human trash. Since it was boiling rain I was inside the house and I had the portal door opened for him to hop on through. "Finally!  Now let's see what we've-" suddenly I heard a noise. It sounded like crying? "Owlburt was that you? I didn't know palismen could make that kind of noise" I said as I looked at him. Then I looked behind me to see a human baby! "Titian!" I yelled looking at the child in front of me. She looked up at me and giggled. "Uh- Owlburt did you bring back a child?" I asked. Owlburt hooted in disagreement. I picked up the child and held her away from me "uh human child whose name I don't care to know! You've seen nothing and you're going back to the human realm" I said as I placed the child back through the portal. Then I closed the portal and sighed a sigh of relief. "Well that was a close one" I said. Suddenly I turned and there it was again! "You!" I yelled as the child giggled at my confusion. I went to open the portal again but I couldn't find the key. I looked at Owlburt and he had it. "Hand it over" I said he hooted as if to say no. "Owlburt I can't raise a child! Especially a human child." I said. Then I looked at her. She was sitting on the floor staring up at me. I couldn't do it. "Fine. One night. That's my limit" I said to him as I picked her up. "Okay Human Child, I am Eda the owl lady! And I am going to take care of you for one night!" I announced to the small child. She giggled at me again. And then I found a note attached to her.

'hello my name is Y/N. Can you take care of me?'

This kids parents abandoned her!?! She looks like she's 2 why would they do that! NO! NO GETTING ATTACHED TO THE HUMAN CHILD! I walked upstairs and placed her down. I sighed. "Well Y/N. I guess you're staying with me. I promise you won't be abandoned or left behind" I smiled at her. She giggled in response.

Y/N POV:

I was 9 years old, I ran into the kitchen to see Aunty Eda, "Eda?" I asked "yes Y/N?" She asked "what happened to my parents?" I asked. Edas face changed from looking happy to looking scared. "Eda?" I asked she sighed. "Well if you really need to know, you're mom  I were good friends. You're mom was with me when we were exploring the human realm. And that's how she met your father. And after they had you your mother moved into the human realm But one day they handed you to me and told me to look after you and that one day they'd be back. I haven't seen them since though. Hope they're alright" Eda said as she looked at the window. "So my parents are still out there and possibly trying to get back to me?" I asked "yeah, they are" Eda smiled as she ruffed my hair. "Thanks Eda!" I grinned as I ran back up the stairs to tell King.
