I look down at my shopping list I've made. 'I still need cereal' I think to myself as I curiously wander the grocery store aisles. I soon get to aisle 4, where the cereal was. As I turn the corner I bump into a familiar face. It was Luke...

We broke up about a month ago. I'm still not fully over him yet. But I guess he's over me, I notice there was a girl behind him. A tall blonde girl with piercing green eyes. She was gorgeous.

"Hey Y/N...haven't seen you in a while." Says Luke breaking the silence. "Yeah...hi. Who is this?" I ask looking at the girl behind him. "Oh this is Monica, my new girlfriend..." He explains.

My heart drops. I force a smile and she asks "Who is this?" "This is my ex girlfriend Y/N." Introduces Luke. "Hi." I say shaking her hand.

She gets a phone call and she looks down at her phone. "I'll be right back. It's my manager, he wants to know if I can make it to the photoshoot tomorrow." She excuses herself.

"Wow a model." I say awkwardly. "Yeah. Isn't she beautiful?" Luke says staring at her as she walks away. "Yeah...she's something." I say.

"Have you been seeing anyone else?" Asks Luke focusing his attention back to me. "Um no." I admit. "Oh. Well I'm sure you will find someone soon." He says.

Monica soon comes back. "It was nice to meet you Y/N. But we should be going. We have dinner reservations." She says with a sweet smile. "Okay...Yeah I gotta go too...uh...have fun..." I say.

They soon leave and I continue to shop. That was awkward, but Luke was right, I will find someone soon. I will find someone better.
