Part 2

Asha? Asha Davis? He's in this class? Margo quickly scanned the classroom. She was in the second row so she had to turn all the way around to see most of the other students. And there he was, hidden in back corner with his head down, with a dark blue folder on his desk. Margo was surprised. It had been almost 8 weeks of this class and she hadn't noticed him at all. She wanted to kick herself for it. Then the bell rang.

Mrs. P: Alright kids. See you next class!

Margo got up and shoved the folder into her bag. By the time she had her bag on she glanced back at where Asha was sitting and saw that he had already left the room.

Margo: Oh... He's fast.

She reluctantly walked out to the front of the school. As she did she was looking around for her project partner. Suddenly she felt an arm around her shoulder.

Margo: Oh Hey Frankie. Aurora.

Frankie: Hey Margo

Aurora: Hi!

The two girls were from film class too. They walked on either side of Margo as they went outside.

Frankie: So you got Davis as a partner?

Margo: Yeah... to be honest I didn't even notice that he was in that class...

Aurora: Don't sweat about it. In reality, I didn't either.

Frankie: I did. Me and Cody tried to talk to him one day, but he didn't respond a lot.

Aurora: Rude much?

Frankie: I don't think so. It was more like he didn't know how to talk to us.

Lake: You guys talking about little creepo in the corner?

Lake appears from behind Aurora who slaps him in the head for his comment.

Aurora: Lake!

Lake: What? It's true. He's so quiet and never talks to anybody. And no one knows anything about him.

Aurora: Because of jerks like you.

Frankie: I'm pretty sure that he has two siblings in elementary school. My little sister said something about them once. I think one's names Vi- something.

Lake: Two siblings huh? Guess you have more in common than originally thought huh Margo.

Margo I guess... I saw him get slapped around by Anderson this morning.

Aurora: Blech! Not the future nepo baby. That guy is just a bunch of walking red flags.

Frankie: He tried asking me out even though I was already dating Cody. And the only reason was because his dad wanted something from mine. He even tried attacking Cody to prove his 'dominance'.

Margo: I heard about that!

Frankie: Cody kicked his ass though.

Lake: Yeah... Pete is a piece of work.

Aurora: That's an understatement...

The small group parted at the front gate as Margo continued to glance around for Asha as well as her ride home. She turns and sees what she think was Asha turning the corner. But before she could call out to him-

Beep!

Edith: Margo! Come on!

Margo turns to see her sister, baby brother and Uncle Dru. When she turns back, Asha was long gone. She groans a bit but walked to the car. Once she gets in and the car takes off she look back out the window where she saw Asha, but only sees the parting ocean of students.
