Chapter 8: Dragon's Den

I had met up with Jalter in the courtyard. The downtown area was nice during the afternoon. The leaves were a golden brown. A gust blew through the wind. Kama appeared out of nowhere and did something unspeakable.

She kissed me. I didn't know how to react. Parted from her flustered.

"What was that?"

"It's only fair for me to get the same treat no?" she said with her fingers to her lips.

"Are you a pervert?"

"Maybe~ " she then went to my ear. "Did you like it~?"

I didn't know how to respond. I had confused feelings toward Kama. She was beautiful, and smart, although she was a little devious. Wait a second.

Soon Kama was pulled away from me to be faced by Jalter. I could tell Jalter was pissed. I did expect this at some point. She dressed herself in her combat clothes from school using magic. She had a sword and many flames burning around her. The ground around her was even boiling.

"K-K-Kama" she stuttered in pure anger.

"Yes, literally satan?"

She slashed her sword at her, with a trail of flame following. Kama dodged this. Kama quickly changed into her mage archer attire and summoned her bow. She shot an arrow at Jalter which she incinerated from the flames around her.

"You know this is really getting out of hand," I said while being pushed back by the wind of the explosions.

I can help, Thrakos said.

'I could use that about now' I said to him in my mind.

Let me just take control for a second, he said in a calm voice.

'Wait what do you-'

I was changed into my battle attire. A black cloak, a visor, and my metallic body armor with military-grade tactical gear/clothes underneath.

I summoned the dagger and teleported between the two. I summoned multiple sets of phantom daggers. They targeted the weapons of the ladies and disarmed them.

Then, Thrakos made me place my hands on the ground. This made the whole area turn black. Pitch black. They were in the void world of Thrakos. They were disarmed and in another dimension.

"I could take other people to this place? Why didn't you tell me?!" I yelled aloud.

"Where are we?" said Kama while looking awestruck

"I'm gonna kill her!" Jalter yelled. She was stopped by being stuck in the dark water.

You're in my domain young ones, said the dragon in a commanding voice. A skeleton the size of a building emerged from the dark waters. It started with the ribcage and eventually ended with the tail. The dragon now in its territory formed itself into its physical form. It glued itself together with the dark water-like substance. Its eyes flared with blue fire.

"Kama, Jalter, you need to chill."

"W-w-what is that," said Kama cowering from the might of the dragon.

"Why can't I summon my flames and sword!" yelled Jalter.

Magic only works for my host in this dimension. You are guests. You have no authority over my eternal void, the dragon chuckled to himself. He descended his long neck over us. Dripping his dark ooze from his jaws. A giant droplet landed on Jalter and soaked her.
