Prologue

"The Zodiac Academy welcomes it's arms to any resilient character, there is no entrance fee, no status requirement. We only request that you arrive with a crest and the willingness to conquer. Commonly you would remain under our care for three years, however with recent war events two years is now required. If you make it through our two years of extensive studies and peculiar training, then you may be accepted into a coven. As mentioned at the beginning of our letter status is not a requirement, wether born from noble blood or common you will have equal chances of graduating. That been said, there is no nepotism towards certain students. You will all start on the same playing field; it is your choice if your rise or fall.

Following this, students will be required to work in teams, as it is tradition for students studying this particular area to have partners. It is our belief and the crowns that progress does not come from singular minds but as a collective hive mind, so dormitories will be supplied regardless of sex and gender. As teams your successes are each other's successes, your failures are each other's failures. There is a nine to ten member requirement for teams, this gives students a higher chance of graduating. If, however, you cannot meet this requirement you will be expelled.

It is an unavoidable issue that students may be gravely injured or killed during their time under our care. Family's will be paid and supplied with any requested support. In the event a crime is committed students will go to trial within the academy's court, under the watch of the crown where our court will discuss a verdict. Keep in mind, murder can be justified.

The Zodiac Academy has a list of rules students must abide by as if law. In the event a student does break these rules punishment will be given steaming from chores to expulsion to harsher penalties. Please read through the following rules carefully:

i.    Pupils are required to carry a silver cross on their person at all times.

ii.    Curfew is nine at night, lights out by ten.

iii.    Attendance is required for all classes and training.

iv.    Personal belongings are permitted but are not under the academy's care.

v.    Contraband is not permitted e.g drugs, alcohol, intercourse.

vi.    Christian or catholic background is not required for attendance.

vii.    There are no religious restrictions, and the academy will honour any religious requirements during schooling hours.

viii.    Visitations will occur for the following, dorms, classes, and training.

ix.    Outside contact is prohibited.

x.    Studying Latin is a requirement, Greek and Arabic is encouraged.

xi.    Uniforms are required at all classes and events. When not in uniform wearing a crest pin is a must.

xii.    Trials may occur outside the academy; crests must be worn and contact to outsiders must be kept at a minimum.

xiii.    Limit magical use when outside of the academy.

xiv.    All are to attend trials regardless of any circumstances.

xv.    Assemblies are held monthly, and all are required to attend.

xvi.    Masses are held every Sunday; students are expected to attend unless specified otherwise.

xvii.    Murder can be justified.

xviii.    Forbidden area in the library is closed to younglings.

xix.    The woods are forbidden to enter unless guided by a professor.

xx.    Music is restricted to hymns and classical music.

xxi.    Profanity is prohibited.

xxii.    Respect is earned when it is given.

xxiii.    Professors have legitimate authority to make decisions that may harm students.

xxiv.    Tutors can be given legitimate authority by professors.

xxv.    All black and all white clothes are encouraged, red is banned.

xxvi.    Teams will have school duties such as cleaning and gardening.

xxvii.    Tattoos must be covered unless specified otherwise.

xxviii.    Medical needs are given by the nurse only.

xxix.    It is highly encouraged that students are baptised but not required.
