"oh no, is it Mr. Solace??" I thought but before I could complete my thought, the doorbell rang
My mother moved to get but I yelled
"I'LL GET IT"
I opened the door bracing myself as I find Uncle Nico standing outside the door holding Mr. Solace's hand. My eyes widened
"Oh-hey Jenny" he said as he looked towards Mr. Solace nervously. They both entered the house as i motioned for them to come inside.
"Hey Isabella? Uncle called out
"In the kitchen, Jenny show Uncle to the table" my mother yelled back as I ushered both of them to the table, as they sat down, I glared and said
"Explain"
"All will be revealed" Uncle simply said with a wink as Mr. Solace giggled on the side
My mother entered the room with food she freshly cooked
"Hey Nico, who's your friend?" she asked smiling at both of them
"Actually Isa, that's what i wanted to talk about" he said as he grimaced
"Everyone's here, go on" she encouraged
"So...everyone, actually Will and I aren't just coworkers but uh- we're also dating" he announced in one breath, I looked for everyone's reactions because I was pretty surprised but everyone just continued eating
"Uh- no reaction? guys? I'm dating a guy? like-" he stammered as Mr. Solace looked around confused, finally my mom spoke up
"Nico, did you really think we didn't know? the moment you started speaking about Will we all knew he was someone special" she said
Uncle and Solace were dumbfounded and has nothing to say as everyone went back to eating
"WHAT" I reacted late, everyone looked at me
"YOU'RE DATING HIM?? THAT'S GREAT AND HOW COME NO ONE TALKED TO ME ABOUT MR.SOLACE?? AND HOW COME THIS WASN'T DISCUSSED WITH ME??"
"Jena, I think you're overreacting just a tiny bit" dear mother commented, Nico chuckled
"Jena Amor, you're a child, we wouldn't discuss something like this with you" he laughed, my cousin Andrea found this even more funny
"I think Jenalisa is the the perfect person to discuss this with as I saw her giving out great relationship advice with her boyfriend James to my friend Aurora the other day at lunch" she snickered
"JENALISA DI ANGELO?? BOYFRIEND? YOU GET YOUR BUTT RIGHT HERE MISSY!!" My mom yelled as I ran away
"SORRY MOM" I screamed as I ran with everyone at the table laughing and rolling on the floor
