Buck and Eddie are in bed together that night after Chim and Maddie are sent off in their honeymoon, and once the boys are asleep. Eddie rolls over and he looks at Buck, who is reading some animal fun fact thing for a moment because Paul Strickland from Austin sent it to him. He's in a group chat with TK, Carlos, Paul, and Mateo Chavez from the 136 in Austin. Eddie's glad he has some friends outside of the 118.
Buck puts his phone down before rolling over to look at Eddie. "Sorry about that. Paul sent a link to walrus fun facts in the group chat."
"You and your facts," Eddie muses. "It's okay. I don't mind." He moves closer and Buck smiles in awe at how much attractive Eddie is the closer he gets. "I want this to happen: us."
"So do I," Buck replies. "TK and Carlos helped me realize it when we were at Judd and Grace's cookout. TK made me question my sexuality, but then he helped me realize I'm more Demi than bi. I'm into you. I'm not really into guys, but I'm into you because you're you."
Eddie hums softly. "Entonces, ¿puedo presumir de que eres mío ahora?" he as's.
"Yes, you can," Buck replies. "Yes, you can brag about me being yours now."
Eddie kisses him and moves quickly to hover over him, their lips locked hard and deep and they make out.

Margaret gives Buck a hug when he goes to Maddie's to say goodbye.
"I'll call you to check in on you and Quinton soon," she says as she pulls away.
"Thanks for giving this a chance, Evan," Phillip says and he gives his son a hug. "We'll talk to you soon."
Buck walks them out, holding Quinton to his chest. He watches as they get into their car and drive away. He then goes to the firehouse because the guys are on shift. Bobby walks over and he takes Quinton.
"Your parents gone?" Bobby asks.
"Yeah," Buck replies. "They just left."
"Oh. There he is!" Hen hurries over and she sees Quinton. "Ooh, it's baby Buck."
Buck chuckles as everyone starts cooing over Quinton but Eddie pulls him aside.
"When are you coming back to work?" Eddie asks.
"Actually, next week," Buck replies. "Pepa agreed to babysit Quinton now that she's back."
"Good, I miss my partner," Eddie says.
"You already have me," Buck muses, "but I get it."
They watch as the team fawns over Quinton and they both smile.
