Jax and I smile at eachother and I nod he goes to strike me "Help!" Mischa shouted and I turn around and look around and see Jessa looking confused to

"What the hell, Kaia?" Jax shouted at me almost hitting me in the head "What the hell , Jessa?" I hear Brax shouting at Jessa , Jax and I walk over to them

"Lower your volume!" I scold both of them looking around "Mischa's in trouble." Jessa mumbled "What? Where?" Brax asked not believing us "Shut up, so we can find out." I tell him

I close my eyes and listen intently . I hear muffled shouts and I pop my eyes open "The pond!" Jessa and I shouted at the same time launching our bow Staffs to the boys and diving into the pond.

I hold my breath and pop my eyes open and looked around to see Opal drowning Mischa , Jessa and I widened our eyes and Jessa shifts and attacks opal biting her shoulder

I attempt to swim and pick up Mischa , and carry her to surface and we both start coughing , Jax and Brax dived in and Jax carried me out while Brax carried Mischa

"That was badass, can't swim and yet you jumped in the pond to save your sister." Jax teased gently setting me down

We helped Mischa out the pond and she's coughing uncontrollably when she falls to her knees then over, Jessa and I knelt at her side "I heard you! I heard your voice inside my head!"Jessa exclaimed and I look at her with a raised brow "Was now the time to smile about that?"

"Mischa!" Max exclaimed holding her head before she fell "Max, go get the healer." Fern instructed and he nodded and ran off to go get said healer "Brax, go get Lienda." Jessa said and Brax flew off .

"You're lucky" I tell Mischa still catching my breath "Are you okay?" Jax asked and I nodded "I'm alright." I tell him reassuringly.

"I had no idea humans were so fragile... honest!" Opal smiled leaning on the edge of the pond with a fake smile "I'm gonna beat your ass." I smiled at Opal before standing up and Lunging at her, but didn't get anywhere when Jax wrapped both his arms around my waist pulling me back

"Not worth it." He whispered , "Knock it off, Opal. No one's buying your shit." Jae scolded harshly , max came back and ran and got in her face

"Try that again and they'll be serving filet o' mermaid for lunch." Max threatened and Opal smiled in awe of max being so close to her and I roll my eyes and sit back down rubbing Mischa's head.

"Mischa!" Lienda exclaimed worriedly jumping off of Brad's back. "You're Ok! She is Ok, isn't she?" Lienda asked clarification "I'm fine." Mischa laughed

"Mischa had a close call, but I don't sense any damage." Borghild said calmly "That was close, and your fine so get off my lap." I smiled standing up letting her lean on her forearms.

"I'm curious about the spell that's fused to Mischa's aura." Borghild asked curiously "Spell?" Mischa, Jessa, and I all asked at the same time "It looks like my old teacher Louis's handiwork, but I've never seen a spell quite like it." Borghild said

"Louis was there when Mischa and Jessa were born, his magic saved Mischa's life." Lienda explained crossing her arms with a smile , My sisters and I all share a look "The questions are never gonna end." I sighed throwing my head back.
