"You're okay, we're okay." I soothe Mischa petting her "She needs to shift so you can get your body back." Brax says quickly

"I know, Brax. Don't scare her." Jessa scolds him bending down next to me "She needs to shift

"I know you don't want to be locked up anymore. I promise it's not forever." Jessa tells Mischa . Mischa looks then closes her eyes sharply, and I raise a brow confused "Just focus and you'll be able to shift back." I tell her

Mischa nods and runs off and we all gasp thinking she's running away, she turns around and shifts back "I had no idea. She's amazing." Mischa said her voice cracking with happiness "She's you." Max said in awe

I look up and stand on my tippy toes to whisper into Jax's ear and even then he still puts his head down "Bets on who get with who first?" I asked with a knowing smile "Definitely Brax and Jessa, they've know each other way longer." Jax whispered back

I lean back and crease my eyebrows "Uh, no. Max and Mischa have that chemistry, that urgency I guess. Jessa and Brax are to awkward, plus they've been friends for years, Max and Mischa just met." I counter twirling my finger around

"I'm not buying it. What do I get when I win?" Jax smirked and I put my hand on my chin "You get all my notes and I document one of McQuaries movies." I bargained crossing my arms "And when I win, I get all your desert for a month." I smirked back crossing my arms.

"Her to her and me to me, so make it be." I hear Jessa chant and they switch back "That was beautiful. Thank you." Mischa looked up at Jessa with grateful eyes then at me

"Maybe you can still shift? Now that you know how." Jessa asked eagerly , Mischa closed her eyes trying to find her wolf "I can't. I can't reach her." Mischa puts her head down in defeat

I walk up to my sisters and place my hands on Mischa's shoulder "Let's get some sleep." I suggest helping her up and we all start walking back to campus in silence

"Do you think you'll try again?" Brax asked from behind us "No. That's not the answer." Mischa replied sadly putting her head down "You'll get there. When it's time." Max encouraged "Someday." Mischa smiled and waved her fist in the air

I turn around and look at Jax "Oh I'm soo winning that bet." I giggle and Brax and max both look at me weird "What bet?"

"You'll find out. When I win." I teased with a wink turning the corner to see Kristov there "Oh, come on!" I groaned

"I'm not even trying to catch you and yet here you are." Kristov crossed his arms and tapped his foot, I nudge Jessa and she puts the Talisman behind her back and passes it off to me "Off campus, after curfew...Why am I not surprised." Kristov groaned

"I can explain." Max quickly spoke up "It's my fault." I stepped up . Kristov groaned again before looking at us annoyed "You realize there are things on my schedule other than acting as truant officer." Kristov voiced walking up to us

"So, no demerits?" I asked with a smile creeping on my face "No demerits." Kristov repeats "Just go to your rooms. And stay there." He instructed pointing to the dormitories

"Thanks , yes, right away." Jax said as everyone walked in front of me and I follow after clutching the talisman in front of me

"What do you have there?" Kristovs voice rings in my ear and I turn around trying to think of an excuse "Um... Nothing. Just something I found?" I said but it was more of a question than an answer and I sighed "I didn't even believe that."
