Monami was silently eating her icecream still looking at the stars but inside her head she had already think thousand ways to convince karan to stop all this. She was not ready. She knew very well that maybe she is independent and worked on her own without anyone's influence but her brother had kept her in a safe coccon
all the time and after this day she will be known as a CEO of a rising company not as Vihaan Mahajan's sister. She will carry dreams of the workers who will work with her. No one will guide her at every step, she has to own her decisions. She can't fail from now on because she will not be alone. She would not bear the failures alone but many will.

Her eyes got teary and she was still lost and with every passing second, her confidence was shrinking.

Karan was silently watching monami knowing very well what is going in her mind but he knows it well that she will give her best and she deserves the position. Maybe she is new for any post but her hard work and efficiency are very good for a young girl like her.

Karan wiped her tears with his right hand and held her shoulder turning her to face him.

Monami was just looking at him without blinking and repeated his words in her mind.
After a lot of thinking she took a long breath and said

She was just rambling and karan put his fingers on her lips lightly and she went silent. Her eyes full of tears with a lot of question. She blinked her eyes and the tears escaped from her eyes. Karan gently wipe the tears and cupped her cheeks making her directly look into his eyes.

Monami life me changes hote hai, either for good or bad but hame woh accept karna hota hai.

Monami continued to question her capability again and again and he assured her everytime.

After consoling her karan felt the peace he lost when she called him at midnight and didn't tell him the reason. He was tensed thinking of 1000 reasons that she is not safe but her location was inside her home.
