**Eight Years Later**

The years flew by with Dimitri. He was now eight with a seven year old brother, Jason and a five year old sister, Eliza.

I walked with Jasmine and Eliza threw the supper market, enjoying the time away from my boys since they were with their father.

"It's such a beautiful day mommy." Eliza said, looking out the front window of the store.

"It is isn't it." I said. Eliza nodded then turned to Jasmine's daughter, Macy, and whispered in her ear. The girls then giggled and turned back to Jasmine and I.

"Mommy, can you and Aunt Jasmine shift and we ride you two home?" Immediately I gripped Eliza's arm. She squealed and looked deeply into my eyes.

"Don't ever say that in public again. Do you understand me? They do not need to know about us." Eliza nodded as Jasmine hissed the same thing to Macy.

"I'm sorry mommy." Eliza said, tears welling up in her eyes. I sighed, brushing her blonde hair behind her ear and kissing her forehead.

"It's okay. Jasmine, here's the pack credit car. Pay out while I take the girls home. I'll have them hold my clothes so don't worry about that. Girls let's go." the girls squealed then took my hand as we left the story and went into the tree line.

"Thank you mommy." Eliza smiled as I sat them behind a tree.

"Do not move." I hissed then walked off. My clothes fell to the ground and I packed then together then put then into Eliza's Dora the Explorer backpack and shifted. I picked up the backpack and walked back to the girls. Eliza took her bag and slipped in on as Macy got in the front and Eliza in the back.

"Remember, hold on tight to me Eliza." Macy said as I stood and took off in a gentle trot towards home. The girls talked and giggled as we went until I picked up an unfamiliar scent.

"Mommy. What's that smell?" Eliza asked. I looked back at her in confusion. She was just five and was already picking up scents. That was not normal for pups. I cleared my head as a mind link from Jasmine came in.

"Where are you? Dagger pack member have been spotted in the area. Where's Macy. You know I can't shift and come find you so please protect my baby." Jasmine pleaded since she was pregnant.

"I will. I need an escort." I mind linked to the pack.

"On my way." Shot back a female escort. I lunged as the girls struggled to hold on. We zipped through the trees as the girls clung to me until the escort met up with us. The girls clung to her back and I licked my daughter's face.

"Get them to the pack house and into the play room." She nodded. "I have to help track. Please keep them safe."

"I will madam." she said, lunging away from me. The scent of the trail hit me hard within a matter of minutes. In the Dagger pack, smaller packs called sub-packs thrived since the territory was so large just like for our pack and my brothers or basically any pack. The main alpha controlled all the smaller packs like Cole did.

The scent I picked up was definitely Dagger territory members but a sub-pack since their was the scent of an alpha that wasn't Alpha Dagger or his son. It seemed to be an alpha and six or seven hunters, probably out looking for trouble or doing something for Alpha Dagger. I growled as the scent grew stronger until I heard a scream.

Eliza. Shoot through my mind as I exploded. The screaming grew louder and louder as I neared.

"Mommy!" Eliza cried as I burst through the clearing, hitting a wolf and clenching his trachea in my throat, killing him instantly by snapping his neck. The girls huddled behind their escort's lifeless like body as it started to slowly transform back to human, showing she was barely alive. The wolves were getting closer.

"Eliza! Grab Macy's hand and run! Do it. Do it now! Don't stop. Mommy will find you. Go!" I growled through a mind link to my daughter and Macy. The girls nodded and took off as I lunged at the nearest wolf.

The small pack turned on me and attacked. Five of them but the alpha no where in sight. I fought as hard as I could, slapping their faces and trying to rip their throats out. The thought of my daughter's terrified face only made me fight harder.

"We're her Luna Darkwood. Come on you Dagger Sons of a Bitches. Let's dance." called one of our newest shifters. He was sixteen and moved from our European territory to here but was one hell of a fighter despite his small and frail appearance.

I turned and ran after the girls, two of the scouts storming right after me. I ran, rage pouring out of me until I smelt blood and slid to a stop. Macy sat leaned against a tree, blood from a very shallow bite staining her clothes.

"Get her to the pack doctor." I ordered the scouts. The immediately picked her up as carefully as possible as Sam burst through the clearing.

"I heard the sounds of a fight." She said breathlessly just as the sound of my daughter screaming pierced the air. We exploded, catching a glimpse of Eliza sliding down the muddy creek side with an alpha hot on her tail.

"Eliza!" I cried, rushing forwards as i lost sight of her. Sam flanked me as we turned and started sliding down the step side and racing after my daughter until to come to a clearing with two black alphas facing off.

Jason and Dimitri sat on dirt bikes behind Cole. Dimitri was putting a helmet on Eliza then pulled her in behind him. The alpha cowered before Cole as the boys revved their engines and took off.

"How dare you go after my daughter and my mate." Cole growled. The alpha whimpered, staring up at Cole.

I wanted nothing more than to rip out his throat in that moment. Cole didn't know what happened to Macy but I wasn't going to tell him. We already had to much blood on our hands.

"Get out of here and if I ever see you again I will kill you." Cole said, as he turned to walk away.

I growled and lunged, sinking my teeth into the side of the alpha and ripping out a chunk of his flesh, spitting it to the ground.

"You chased my daughter and may have just killed Macy. You may get off the hook with my mate but not with me. I will kill you." I said just as Jack burst through the clearing. He and I both hit the Alpha hard, knocking him off the cliff on into the muddy bottom of the clearing.

"Jack stand down." Cole growled as I glared at the alpha who wasn't moving, his blood dripping off my chin. "You too Jessica." Cole growled.

"He killed my daughter." Jack growled as I watched the alpha struggle to his feet. Our scout pack was nearing, Caleb in the front like always. Stupid European member.

"What?" Cole asked. "Scouts, follow Jacks orders. They are in our territory. Do whatever you please. Jessica come on with Sam. We need to find our kids." I nodded.

"Kill them all." Jack called, leaping down onto the alpha and ripping his throat out. I winced as we turned and ran, Macy's bloody body still in my head.

"Mommy." Eliza called as I walked to the pack house, pulling the cloak tightly around me until I could get done actual clothes. I sank to my knees and wrapped my arms around my daughter, kissing her forehead. Jasmine sat ok the front steps heaving. I raced to her side.

"They killed her. They killed my baby." she said as she cried. I pulled her into me, letting her cry into my shoulder as we waited for the scouts and Jack to return.

"Sam. Go assist them. Leave not one trespasser alive." Sam nodded and left as I held Jasmine.

"What's wrong?" Eliza asked in a weak voice. Cole came up behind her, sweeping her up into his arms

"Nothing sweet heart." he said. "Eliza. You're bleeding." Eliza looked down at her bloody arm as I looked up at her.

"That big bad wolf bit my arm and then Macy jumped in front of him when he said he was gonna kill me. Where is Macy cause she pushed me and told me to run." Jasmine just cried harder at those words.

"Cole, take the kids home. It's getting late and Jasmine needs me. Jasmine, as a matter of fact, why don't you come and stay with use until they find Jack and the scouts."

"Please." Jasmine asked. I nodded and helped her up as we walked to the four door Rhino. Jasmine sat in the back with the boys as I climbed into the front with Cole and put Eliza in my lap.
