As you walked down the cold streets of Oxford, you hear a car zoom past, splashing your torn brown coat and dirtying your brown boots. You sighed "Could life get any worse?" Just as those words left your lips it started to rain. " That wasn't a challenge!" You shouted out, not caring if people heard you. Not many people talked to you becuase you were quiet and mischievous. You always wore a hat and baggy bottoms no matter what season or weather. Secretly you were a neko. Half cat half human. So you wore the hat to hide your highly sensitive ears, and jogging bottoms to hide your tail. As you walked down the dark, street light hinted walkways you walked down an alley to find shelter. Yes you were homeless. Your famoly thought you were a normal child only to find out you had this ability to turn into a cat. Though it was hard for you to make the ears disappear so you just lived with it. As you kept walking someone grabbed you from behind and pushed you against the wall. "All your money or you die, and don't think of screaming sweetheart" a gruff angry voice said. Most likely male. "I-i don't have any money sir" you whimpered, his legs pishing against your tail. Your hat fell off due to the amount of rain on it showing your (hair colour) ears. "WHAT THE F*CK?! What are you!? A monster?" He shouted, bringing hot tears down your cheeks. "Well TELL ME!" He demanded. You were about to explain until- *WHAP BANG* the man had been hit stone cold in the crotch and face by someone. You fell to the ground and crouched into a ball, protecting yourself. "Don't be afraid" a soft almost tired voice said. You daren't move so he lifted his arms out and picked you up. "I'm heracules, nice to meet you" he said walking off. You nodded and closed your eyes falling asleep. He brought you inside his warm house and took off your coat, only to realise you had nothing underneath. "Gha!" He gasped and walked away quickly to find a top. He out an oversized kitty top on you to keep you dry and warm. He sat on the couch with you nestling his lap with your head, as he softly pet your ears. You purr slightly and hear " good kitty" come out of his mouth. You smiled and drifted back off to sleep. 'I love my new owner' you thought.... 'And i love you too' you imagined him say'
