Aiden looked up at Avox, who had seen everything. He sighed quietly, the reality of what he had done sinking in. He had everything he could've wanted, but he let his addiction get the better of him, leading him to commit a crime that would haunt him forever. The Avox's expression held a mix of pity and disappointment, silently conveying the weight of Aiden's actions and the irreversible consequences he now had to face.

"Get the child out of here," Aiden whispered as his eyes glanced at the newborn. "Take her to District 12, where she'll be safe," he pleaded, his voice filled with desperation. Aiden knew that District 12 was the only place where the child would have a chance at a normal life, away from the chaos and danger that consumed his own existence. With a heavy heart, he handed the baby over to the Avox, knowing that this was the only way to protect her from the darkness he had succumbed to. The servant placed Ember in a nearby basket and snuggled in the blanket. Aiden watched. Ember was a reminder of his mistake in killing Celeste. As he watched Ember in the basket, Aiden couldn't help but feel a pang of guilt and regret for the irreversible actions he had taken. The weight of his past decisions weighed heavily on him, knowing that Celeste's death would forever haunt him. He turned away as he struggled to come to terms with the consequences of his actions. He spoke softly. "go. get out of here!"

Aiden listened as Ember's baby noises became more distant. He couldn't help but wonder if letting Ember go was the right decision, questioning whether it would bring him any solace or only amplify his remorse. The sound of Ember's fading cries echoed in his ears, a painful reminder of the void left by Celeste's absence. "I should've listened to her when I had the chance," Aiden whispered to himself, his voice filled with regret. The weight of his choices settled heavily on his shoulders, and he couldn't shake the feeling that he had made a grave mistake that would haunt him for the rest of his life.

The Avox made their way towards District 12, their footsteps echoing through the empty streets. Ember softly cried from the basket she carried, a reminder of the responsibility she now bore. Aiden's heart ached as he watched the Avox, knowing that their journey to District 12 would be fraught with danger and uncertainty. He couldn't help but wonder if they would ever find solace and redemption in the place they once called home.

Meanwhile, in District 12, Katniss Everdeen, aka the Mockingjay, was preparing to go out hunting for her family dinner tonight. She said goodbye to Peeta and their kids. Willow is the eldest, and Rye is the youngest. As she stepped into the familiar woods, Katniss couldn't shake off the lingering sense of unease. The memories of the rebellion and the sacrifices made haunted her, reminding her that even in District 12, danger still lurked in every shadow. Katniss whistled softly as the birds whistled softly in return, their melodic tunes providing a momentary respite from her worries. She knew that in these woods, she was both hunter and hunted, a constant reminder of the never-ending battle for survival. With her bow and arrows at her ready, Katniss ventured deeper into the forest, determined to bring back a successful hunt for her family. Unknown to her, she would be coming home with more than food for her family.

Katniss stepped under the wire fence that blocked 12 from the outside. As she crossed the boundary, a surge of adrenaline coursed through her veins, knowing that she was leaving behind the safety of her district. The world beyond the fence was filled with uncertainty and danger, but Katniss's determination to provide for her loved ones pushed her forward, ready to face whatever challenges awaited her. As she walked along her usual route, she couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that had settled in her stomach. She heard a twig snap nearby, and her senses heightened, her heart pounding in her chest. Instinctively, Katniss reached for her bow and arrow, prepared to defend herself against any potential threat lurking in the shadows. There was nobody there. "Huh, that must be my imagination," she muttered to herself, trying to dismiss the lingering unease. However, her intuition told her otherwise, reminding her that, in the dangerous world she lived in, it was always better to trust her instincts. With a renewed sense of caution, Katniss continued on her path, her eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of danger.
