Chapter 43

Taehyung's eyes widen, when hoseok and him reached a certain place. Now, they both were standing on the top of a cliff, from where the whole reign of hoseok could be seen.

He helped taehyung to get off the horse by holding on his hand, making him stand on the soft grass.

"This is, my reign, our reign. As far as you can see, all of that place, belongs to us."

"All of this, are ours?!" Tae asked with wide eyes, making hoseok nod at him.

"This is how powerful jung dynasty is since forever, but when I got the throne, the power increased because of my cruelty." He said, making taehyung fell silent at his words.

"If I say the truth, I was grown like this. Heartless, cruel, and evil. My father was nothing less. He was much crueler, but not as skillful as me." Hoseok continued, staring at the reign with his brown orbs, making the cold wind caresses his hair gently.

"Hobi, are you fine?" Tae asked, noticing the bitter expression on his husband's face. Hoseok came back to his senses, turned his attention to the younger, and shows a small smile to him.

He walked close to him, and removed his veil, now looking at his beautiful face with love in his half hooded eyes.

"You are so pretty, taehyung." He whispered, then leaned close to the other, making tae close his eyes, then feel a soft pair of lips on his.

Taehyung's hands went to hoseok's attire, to held on them in a firm grip. He slowly started to move his lips with him, lips interlocking with each other, and tongues rolling against each other.

After some moments, hoseok broke the kiss, and placed his hand on the soft cheek of his beautiful queen, still not breaking his gaze from his blue ones.

"I apologize that I married you forcefully. I apologise for forcing you on the first night of our wedding. I caused you pain, so the karma is hitting me now." Hoseok whispered, making taehyung turn his gaze down at his feet.

"It is, fine hobishi. I was angry when you married me without my consent, and I was angry when you did all those things to me. But it is all in the past now. You saved me from yoongi, and almost sacrificed yourself for me and our child. I know that you love me a lot, but you were blinded by your arrogance and pride."

"Yes, I was. But, the thing which I wanted to do was, to protect you. I know that you know about the prophecy of the biggest war, which was done when you were born. And when I laid my eyes on you, when you were small, I fell for your beauty and innocence. At first, I thought that it is a mere attraction, but I was wrong, my feelings for you just kep increasing. After that, I came to know about the prophecy, so I decided to protect you in my way, which was surely not the right one. I wanted you to hate me because I did not wanted that lost king to know about my weakness, which was you. But I failed miserably." Hoseok explained everything, while taehyung just kept listening him in silence.

He sighed, and turned his face away from him.

He started to walk slowly towards the cliff, making hoseok stare at him in silence.

"Hobi, I want to start my life with you from beginning. My life was not easy from every since I was born. The beauty which I have, always being the biggest enemy of mine. So, at this moment of life, all I want is, happiness, and nothing else." Taehyung explained, now turning his gaze in the direction of his husband once again.

"Hobi, would you promise me, that you will come alive from the war if yoongi did not accepted our proposal of peace?" He asked.

Hoseok took his steps in his direction, and placed his hand over his cheek, staring into his eyes with his brown softer ones.
