The Mountain (ROUGH DRAFT)

The Celebration

When i woke up it was the middle of the night, though everyone seemed awake.
"So we all just woke up?" Zack asked. I yawned as I sat up.
We then heard 4 angelic voices, chanting something in
A calm voice. There where 4 that stood in the  Middle of my room, one blue, one red, one
green and one grey.
"By the name of the mountain, Dover, Phoenix, Aelle, and Aaron wil protect you all
during your hike, we shall announce that you shouldn't overuse your powers."
After all that, everyone else sat up, I then saw fire light up in my room, Alex.
"Cool! Im fire" Alex said, twirling the fire in her finger like a candle.
"How are you so calm!" Maya said in shock.
I look at the area where the spirits where, they're gone.
"Cool!" Zack said, forming a small tornado on his hands.
I turned and saw Alex with fire on her hands still.
"Your going to turn the fire alarm on!" i whispered loudly.
I looked at my hands and the moisture on my hands turned into water, the water levitated
In the air as a ball, I blew the ball to the fire. It engulfed the small flame, putting it out.
"Hey! Your no fun" Alex complained, crossing her arms.
"Yeah its going to be fun when you set off the fire alarm of this entire house" i replied.
"I can just blow it off?" Zack said, still having the tornado in his hands.
"I wouldn't recommend that" I said, worried
"Woah" Maya said as a yellow dandelion grew on her palm.

It felt like I was babysitting children. Everything was weird and out of control.
"This feels weird" Maya said as she touched the dandelion growing from her.
"Guys can we please go back to sleep" i groaned, laying back down.
"Ugh fine" Maya laid back down and so did everyone else. Finally, sleep.

In the morning Zack was still sleeping in but our movie was at 12 pm and it was already 11 am.
I sighed as Iwashed my hands and put my hand above his face and after a bit I clenched my
Fists making the water splash on him, I chuckle a bit as he wakes up.
"What the hell" he complained, sitting up, drying his face.
"Our movie starts an in hour and you're not even dressed yet".
We all got dressed, Maya spent the longest since she had to do skincare. Who needs 12 lotions?
My dad had to drop us off since none of us has a driver's license or a car yet. While on the way
Max texted me, I called shotgun so I was in the front, I looked down at my phone.
"Hey, just letting you know that i'm leaving in a week from today" he texted "so your ready".
I looked at it and left him on read. If he does that to me I do that to him.
Once we got to the movies dad told me to have fun and drove away.
The place was huge with the movie theatre on the right and the arcade on the left, though
It was strangely empty "Quick hurry, we have 10 minutes till the movie starts. Maya and
Avery reserve our seats" Zack said walking up to the snack bar, nothing looked good there.
"What do you want?" Alex asked, looking up at the menu board that only had 5 options.
"Just a medium popcorn, extra butter" I said, "oh and a blue raspberry slushie".

"I just want a small popcorn, no butter and an iced water" Maya said, boring.
As we walked to the movie room we talked, just a plain conversation.
"Thats a really plain snack" i brought up
"I like plain" she explained as she opened the door...for herself.
"Thats boring" i replied, I utterly hate boring people.
When we got inside the movie was barely starting. I was able to find 4 seats next to each other
I sat down next to Maya, unfortunately . alex and Zack came rushing in a minute later. They handed us our snacks and the movie started. To be honest i dont think Maya enjoyed it. But i am going to say is that the popcorn was amazing, butter drizzled on it. Though there was
this part where Maya cringed so hard she had to cover her eyes. I laughed. It was quite entertaining though. Maya, Zack Alex and I were disappointed in the movie. Though the food was amazing and the seats were comfortable. I feel like Zack only liked the girls in the movie. I know that because he was admiring the girls, mainly their breasts, pervert.
"This movies a mess" i heard Maya whisper to herself "i cant believe people left a 5 star rating on
This" She was right the acting was terrible and the sequence of the movie didn't make any sense.
A Minute ago the main character was at a festival and now they're at war with some dumb alien.
"This movies dumb" i whispered to Maya, leaning against my seat towards her.
"I know" she whispered back "no one's getting hurt, how the hell" she said as her popcorn ran out.
"Should we get more snacks?" i asked. She nodded and we got up and left.
As we walked down the halls we where just walking there awkwardly.
