Levi's pov:

Class reunion can be great way of showing off what you did after graduation. It is basically is the only reason, some of us attend such gatherings.

If you don't attend due to schedule issues, don't think that's what everyone's gonna believe. They believe you're just miserable.
For me, I did pretty good in my life.
If there wasn't that one thing I knew would be the gossip around the people.

My divorce.
Y/n and I were dating back in highschool and after college, we got married. Way too quick if you ask me. We had a daughter but we separated when she was 2 years old. Our divorce was 3 years ago and we were completely fine with it.

We're still very good friends and she will remain one of the most important people in my life. We just didn't work out as a couple and that's okay.
The co-parenting works very well for us. Mei is every second week with me. But if she prefers to stay with her mom or with me, we both arrange that. Mei's well-being is what matters the most to us and she receives just as much love as before our divorce.

I decided I wanted to attend the class reunion. Mei was at y/n's house this week and her and Mei are supposed to meet me there as y/n would pick Mei up from a play date.

»So, Mister Levi, tell us a bit about your life. And where is your wife?« Eren asked. He has always been a bit jealous of my relationship with y/n though he has married his own first live, Mikasa.

»Uhm, Ex-wife. She will be here a little late.« I answer.
»Ex-wife?« Hanji asked.
»Since when?« Erwin asks, sipping his beer.
»3 years. Didn't work out the way we hoped for. But we're still close friends and appreciate each other much.«

»That's what they all say and end up in hatred.« Eren brings his glass up to his lips as I glare at him for is useless comment.

After another hour, I started to get worried.
»She should have been here and hour ago. Where the hell is she?«
»something wrong in your divorce paradise?« Eren grins.

Just as he said that, my phone rings. It's y/n.
»Hey, y/n, where are you? It's been an hour already and- Mei?« I froze at the sound of my 5 year old daughter on the phone of her mom.

»Mei? Is it your new girlfriend?«
»Sweety, what are you doing on mommy's phone? Where's mommy?« I ask as I ignore Eren.
Not only his but the eyes of all of my past classmates widen as I mention that Mei is in fact my daughter and not my girlfriend.

»Did he just say, Mommy?« Hanji asked Erwin.
»I didn't know they had children.«
»daddy...« I hear a little sniff at the either end of the phone. My worries just rose.
»Mei, what happened? Are you okay?« I ask.
»I think mommy is dead.«

I stopped breathing for a minute.
»What do you mean mommy is dead?!«
The crowd is silent as they listen to every word I said.

»She wasn't feeling well this week, daddy. But she refused to see a doctor. And now she fell on the ground and she doesn't move. I can't wake her up. I think k she is dead, daddy.«

The tiny voice of my daughter filled with fear breaks my heart.
The grip around my phone tightens.
»Mei, stay where you are, I'm coming to you, okay and don't worry, mommy's just fine okay.« I hung up the phone.

Without looking back, I got to my car and drove off to y/n's house. With the pare key I own, I open the door and run into the kitchen where I found an unconscious y/n lying on the floor.

»Daddy!« my yelled as she saw me.
»Hey, baby. I'm gonna take a look on mommy, okay.«

I cupped her face with my hands, shaking it.
»y/n, Hey, wake up! Hey, stay with me okay? Open your eyes, come on!«
No response. I grabbed my phone and called an ambulance.
As y/n was rushed to the ER I brought Mei to my mother who was also in deep concern for her former daughter in law.
