Once they walked a little farther from the spot, Mia asked who Rache was talking to. This made Rache realise the risk her best friend was in, a completely toxic situation and strangely her anger intoxicated herself, which was not healthy for herself at all. Rache understood that she had to do something about it.

Rache had stayed over as Mia's state was not suitable to be left alone for her parents to deal with. She had lied that it was an unplanned sleepover. One might wonder, why two fully grown girls are scared of parents, it was simply because the parents were strict and would never really listen to what they have to say. When Mia woke up the next morning she found Rache on her side staring at her with an alarmed look on her face, 'good morning! When did you come?' it was really a stupid question to ask, she even snickered when she asked it. 'You know you talk a lot in your sleep', was Rache's answer. 'Well, if you're so worried why don't you start writing them down? Might be interesting enough to write a story about it.' Will Mia ever be serious about anything was Rache's initial thought, but she realised a few minutes later what Mia was really up to. 'You do know you can't just put off talking to me about it Mia, I'm concerned about you.', she toned down her voice. But for some reason Mia continued to put on a pretence. 'That's what they all say', she fell onto the bed again without going to brush her teeth. Rache felt like Mia was a ticking time bomb now and would go off any second now. But the only problem is that she wasn't sure whether she would cry or she would start shouting. But then she heard it, a soft sob. The thing about Mia is that you can never reason with her when she is crying, now Rache was in a tight spot. She didn't want to leave her friend and at the same time be there in the room with her and watch her cry. Because she was already mad at her friend for wasting her time on people who didn't really give a damn about her when it all went down, including Joe. So, she decided to slowly walk out the room and get her something to eat or drink.

When she walked back with two mugs of hot-chocolate, Mia was back to normal again, this was a good sign. If she stops crying this soon, she is not hurt as Rache thought she was, and a good time to talk some sense into her to make her understand the state she is in. Rache gestured Rache to come sit next the window with her and without any fuss she got off from her bed and walked behind her. Straight to the point without any icing on the cake Rache asked, 'do you think Joe is the right person for you?'. The room was silent for two good minutes, Mia let out a big sigh and stared at her friend. She knew unlike others she is asking this because Rache cared about her. 'I don't know I'm confused', she said it in a tone only for the dogs to hear her. But words weren't really to know the misery of Mia.

They spent the entire day in Mia's room, they washed up and changed into fresh set of Mia's pyjamas and decided to watch a few episodes of FRIENDS and relax. Every now and then Rache would give some hints and bits on how better off Mia is without Joe. She had actually forgotten to even check her phone; she didn't even bother to pick it up and see at least the notification after hearing Joe's message tone. Finally, after a while, Mia decided it was time to accept the moment and talk to Rache about it, 'as I said earlier, I don't know what I'm doing', she just looked right at Rache and said it, her expression was completely blank.

'Finally, you're ready to talk about it', Rache threw a throw pillow and laughed. 'you're too stupid you know that? Here I thought you were healing, and all of a sudden, you're doing a brainstorm session for something that happen years ago? You're better than that.' Mia just stared at her with the same blank expression, gasping every now and then. She knew she had it coming sooner or later but not as soon as this and not as direct as this. 'What do you expect me to do Rache? I need your help. I don't think I can't get over this just like that.' Mia started crying all of a sudden. 'Ok little miss cry me a river if you're really going to be this dramatic so be it', saying this Rache got up as if she was about to leave, and that was when Mia's sobbing stopped. 'FINE', she looked up at Rache, after a few seconds of silence she said she has decided to move on from Joe and she needed Rache's help to get over him for real this time, but for that they both knew Mia needed some professional advice as to why she can't get over him in the first place. But for some reason she was hesitant to do anything about it, but Rache didn't fuss about it either. Because she knew she won't go through that alone because she will never let her.
